Was the Silent Hill 2 Xbox release date leak real?
Yes. GamesRadar reported that a now-deleted Microsoft Store listing gave November 21, 2025 as the Xbox Series X|S release date. On that date, Konami announced that the game was available on Xbox Series X|S, and the current Xbox US Store listing also gives November 21, 2025 as its release date.

What is available on Xbox?
The Xbox Store lists SILENT HILL 2 as a single-player psychological survival horror game published by KONAMI and developed by Bloober Team SA. Konami describes it as a remake of the original 2001 game, first announced in 2022 for PlayStation 5 and Steam.

Xbox’s product page describes an over-the-shoulder camera, expanded locations, updated combat, ray tracing and spatial audio. Those are store-page features, not a substitute for independent performance testing. The listing includes Xbox Series X|S, PC, Xbox Cloud Gaming and handheld play categories; the experience and availability may vary by device and service.
How can you get it, and does Game Pass include it?
The Xbox listing offers Standard and Deluxe editions, as well as a SILENT HILL 2 & SILENT HILL f Standard Dual Pack. Edition availability and prices can change, so check the store for current options in your region.
The listing says cloud play requires an Xbox Game Pass Essential, Premium or Ultimate subscription and that the game must be purchased. That is a cloud-play requirement; it does not establish that the game is included in a Game Pass catalog. The listing verifies an Xbox digital product page, not a physical Xbox edition or Amazon inventory.

Konami also reported a milestone of six million total players as of April 24, 2026. The company’s May 13, 2026 announcement says that count includes units shipped, store downloads and subscription services; it is a player count, not six million sales.
