Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsIf one Fortnite skin is missing from an otherwise normal Item Shop, it is most likely out of the current rotation—not proof that it has been removed. Epic does not give a return date for individual items, and Support cannot grant an item that is not currently listed. If the entire shop is blank, or a skin you already own is missing from your Locker, follow the separate checks below.
First, identify what is missing
| What you see | Likely issue | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| One skin is absent, but other shop listings appear normal | Ordinary Item Shop rotation | Check the current shop and check back later. Epic does not publish a return date for each outfit. Epic’s shop-rotation guidance |
| The entire shop is blank or will not refresh | A stale page or a shop-wide display/service issue | Refresh the web shop, try the in-game shop, and check Epic’s live service status. Epic’s web-shop transaction guidance |
| A skin you bought or earned is absent from your Locker | An account, filter, or archive issue—not shop rotation | Verify the account, clear Locker filters, and inspect Archived items. |
If one skin is missing from the shop
Fortnite’s Item Shop is not a permanent catalog. Epic says it “constantly rotates Items,” so a skin disappearing from the current listing does not by itself mean it has been removed from the game. Check the current shop in-game or on the web, then check again later if the outfit is not there.

Epic’s general support guidance does not give a schedule for an individual skin’s return. Past appearances or community predictions cannot establish when it will come back. Support also says it cannot grant or get items and offers that are not currently in the Item Shop. Read Epic’s guidance on item returns.
When a web listing appears but a purchase fails
A web page can be stale, and an item may remain searchable after it has left the purchasable rotation. Refresh the page and check whether the listing’s end date has passed. Epic advises visiting the page later or trying the in-game shop if it does not update. Epic’s web Item Shop transaction-error guidance.

If the whole shop is blank or stuck
- Refresh the web Item Shop page.
- If it remains blank or stale, open the in-game shop or check again later.
- Check Epic Games Public Status for a current Fortnite or Item Shop service notice.
Epic has acknowledged past occasions when both the web and in-game shops appeared empty. That older notice shows a shop-wide display problem can happen; it does not show that an outage is happening now. Service status changes, so use the live status page rather than relying on an old report.
If a skin you own is missing from your Locker
Do not wait for the Item Shop to rotate: a previously owned outfit should be investigated as a Locker or account issue. Work through these checks:

- Confirm the account. Make sure you are signed into the Epic account used for the purchase. Compare its email with the purchase receipt.
- Clear Locker filters. In Locker, open outfits and remove any active filters that could hide the skin.
- Check Archived. Archived cosmetics remain on the account. Use the Locker’s unarchive action to restore an item to the regular view. Epic’s instructions for finding archived Locker items.
- Contact Player Support if it is still missing. Use Epic’s missing-items support flow if the account, filters, and archive checks do not resolve it.
Could a Battle Pass skin appear in the shop later?
Epic says Battle Pass items released after August 7, 2024 may be available in the Item Shop at least 18 months after the relevant Battle Pass expires. That is a possibility, not a promise that any particular reward will return. The policy does not establish the availability or return date of a specific outfit.
