Black Ops 6’s Shadow Hunt was a limited-time Season 02 event that ran from February 13 through February 20, 2025. It has ended, so these challenges can no longer be completed as part of the live event. The event covered Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone, with six challenge rewards and the TR2 Marksman Rifle as the reward for completing all six challenge sets.
How Shadow Hunt challenges and rewards worked
Shadow Hunt had six challenge sets. Each set offered three alternative objectives: one in Multiplayer, one in Zombies, and one in Warzone. Completing any one of the three alternatives earned that set’s reward; players did not need to complete the objective in every mode. Completing all six sets unlocked the TR2 Marksman Rifle. Activision’s Season 02 announcement listed seven event rewards in total, matching the six challenge rewards plus the TR2 mastery reward.

For the Binary Trigger Zombies objective, GameSpot identifies Abominations and Amalgams as the elite zombies. The official Season 02 announcement names the Binary Trigger Fire Mod for the Tanto .22 and the TR2 Marksman Rifle among the event rewards.
What the headline rewards did
Slipstream
GameSpot describes Slipstream as a Multiplayer perk that increased base sprint speed but removed Tac-Sprint. Its reward bundle also included a 30-minute Double XP token.

Binary Trigger
The Binary Trigger was a Tanto .22 Fire Mod for a specialized semi-automatic firing behavior: it fired when the trigger was pressed and again when it was released. GameSpot says it prevented the use of Barrel and Underbarrel attachments.
Black Diamond operator skin
GameSpot and Gameranx report Black Diamond as a BlackCell-only bonus skin for Bayan. It was conditional on BlackCell ownership, not one of the six standard challenge rewards available through the event’s challenge routes.

Which mode route should you use?
During the event, the practical choice was the route whose task best matched the mode you could play reliably. Some objectives required score or eliminations in Multiplayer, rounds, critical kills, or exfils in Zombies, and contracts, headshots, matches, caches, or custom-gun eliminations in Warzone. The published challenge details do not establish one mode as universally fastest, and the event is now over.
