The St. Patrick’s Update for Steal a Brainrot launched on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. PT (3:00 p.m. ET). Its release countdown has expired; it is no longer counting down to launch.
When did the St. Patrick’s Update come out?
The update, also identified as Update 42 in the event archive, went live March 14, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time and 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time, according to TechWiser’s release-day coverage. The event archive also dates the St. Patrick’s Event to March 14, 2026 (Steal a Brainrot event guide).
What time was that in other time zones?
TechWiser’s conversion table gave these local equivalents. The later dates reflect that the launch had already crossed midnight in those time zones.
| Time zone | Launch time |
|---|---|
| Pacific Time (PT) | March 14, 12:00 p.m. |
| Eastern Time (ET) | March 14, 3:00 p.m. |
| Central European Time (CET) | March 14, 8:00 p.m. |
| India Standard Time (IST) | March 15, 12:30 a.m. |
| Japan Standard Time (JST) | March 15, 4:00 a.m. |
| Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) | March 15, 6:00 a.m. |
Is the countdown still active?
No. The countdown was a live launch timer, and the March 14 release date has passed. Any page still showing that countdown should be treated as a historical timer, not a countdown to an upcoming update. The available coverage establishes the launch date, but not an exact event end time.
