Steam Replay is Valve’s personal year-end recap of your Steam activity. It launched on December 26, 2022. To try to see your 2022 recap, sign in to the Steam account you used that year and open Steam Replay. Older editions may not be available for every account, so treat the year-specific route below as something to try rather than a guarantee.
How to try to view your Steam Replay 2022
- Sign in to Steam. Use the account associated with the 2022 activity you want to see.
- Open the official Steam Replay page. Valve’s launch announcement links to the Replay destination, which sends visitors who are not signed in to Steam’s sign-in page: store.steampowered.com/replay/.
- Look for the 2022 edition. If the page opens a different edition or does not show the older recap, a current third-party guide reports that older Replays can be reached through a year-specific URL and identifies 2022 as the first edition. Valve’s launch announcement does not confirm that route, and continued access to the 2022 page is not established for every account. PC Gamer’s guide describes the reported method.
If you reach a sign-in prompt, authenticate with the account you want to check. If the 2022 recap still does not appear, the available sources do not establish a workaround or guarantee that the page remains available for your account.
What Steam Replay 2022 showed
Valve described the 2022 Replay as a wrap-up of a user’s time on Steam, including their top games and how and when they spent the most playtime. The announcement did not provide a complete list of every statistic shown on each user’s recap. Valve’s December 26, 2022 announcement is the source for the launch-year description.
Replay editions have added details over time. For example, Valve’s 2024 description mentions game counts, achievements, longest streak, monthly and device playtime, Steam Family playtime, and genre graphs. Those later details should not be assumed to have appeared in the 2022 recap. Valve’s 2024 announcement describes that later edition.
