THQ Nordic’s August 1, 2025 Digital Showcase covered 14 games and related announcements, from SpongeBob platforming and open-world racing to RPGs and co-op horror. The publisher’s recap included the Gothic 1 Remake demo as its own entry; a separate contemporaneous recap also reported a Gothic 2 Complete Classic console announcement. Release windows and availability below describe what was reported at the time, not confirmed current status.
What was announced?
The official recap’s lineup spans several genres, with event-era details on platforms and status where the sources supplied them. A wishlist or trailer listing is not evidence that a game was playable or released.

Why announcement counts differ
THQ Nordic’s August 1, 2025 recap lists the Gothic 1 Remake demo separately, while Insider Gaming’s event recap also counts Gothic 2 Complete Classic as a separate console announcement. The pages therefore use different scopes; a single total depends on whether demos and separately reported announcements are counted. Insider Gaming also attributed to THQ Nordic the claim that 28 games were in development, including 15 unannounced titles. That figure appears in its contemporaneous report, not in the official recap text.
The showcase sale was limited to August 1–8, 2025
THQ Nordic’s Steam Showcase Sale ran from August 1 through August 8, 2025, and has ended. The publisher’s recap cited examples including Darksiders at up to 80% off and Jagged Alliance 3 and Alone in the Dark at 60% off during that promotion; those were historical sale terms, not current offers. THQ Nordic’s recap also links the full showcase and individual game pages.
