T1 beat KT Rolster 3–2 in the League of Legends World Championship final on Nov. 9, 2025, in Chengdu, becoming the first team to win three Worlds titles in a row. The victory was T1’s sixth Worlds championship overall.
How the 2025 Worlds final ended
The final was a best-of-five series between Korean rivals T1 and KT Rolster. T1 took the series 3–2 at Dong’an Lake Sports Park Multifunctional Gymnasium in Chengdu, China. Riot’s Worlds 2025 schedule and standings lists the final for Nov. 9 and records the result.
The route to the final included close and decisive series: T1 beat Anyone’s Legend 3–2 in the quarterfinals on Oct. 31, KT beat Gen.G 3–1 in the semifinals on Nov. 1, and T1 swept Top Esports 3–0 on Nov. 2. Those results set up the all-Korean final, where T1 needed all five games to secure the title.
Why T1’s third consecutive title is historic
T1 won Worlds in 2023, 2024 and 2025. Korea.net reported that this made the team the first to claim three consecutive titles since the tournament began in 2011. The 2025 win also brought T1’s overall Worlds title count to six; its earlier championships came in 2013, 2015 and 2016.
