To complete Straight Record in ARC Raiders, go to Victory Ridge on Dam Battlegrounds, interact with the old EMP trap, disable three nearby power switches, then return to the trap and shut it down. The switches are around a rocky rise, a ruined building, and a cable running downhill toward the Hydroponic Dome Complex.
Quest location and objectives
Celeste gives Straight Record after Broken Monument. The quest takes place at Victory Ridge, in the West Broken Bridge area in the north of Dam Battlegrounds, north of the Hydroponic Dome Complex. Use the narrow, antenna-like old EMP trap as your central landmark; the available guide descriptions provide orientation and visual cues rather than precise map coordinates.
The ARC Raiders Database, a community reference rather than an official Embark quest page, lists these objectives:
- Reach Victory Ridge.
- Find the old EMP trap.
- Disable the first, second, and third power switches.
- Shut down the EMP trap.
How to complete Straight Record
1. Find and interact with the EMP trap
Travel to Victory Ridge and locate the narrow antenna-like device. Interact with it first to advance the quest and make the three switch objectives available.

2. Disable the hill switch
Search the rocky rise north or northeast of the trap for a flashing yellow control box. Interact with the box to disable the first switch.
3. Reach the switch in the ruined building
Return toward the trap and look for the nearby ruined building. Use a generator or debris to climb into the structure, then reach its upper level and find the yellow control box. Guides differ on the exact climbing approach, so use the building and the trap as your landmarks rather than relying on a single route.
4. Follow the cable to the third switch
Head downhill, south from the trap in the direction of the Hydroponic Dome Complex. Follow the visible wire or cable to the third switch and disable it.
5. Return to the trap and shut it down
Go back to the old EMP trap and interact with it again to complete the final listed objective.

Quest rewards
The ARC Raiders Database lists five Medium Gun Parts and three Advanced Mechanical Components as completion rewards. It also lists binoculars and a defibrillator among the items granted for the quest. These are community database details; no official Embark quest page confirming the rewards was identified.

The ARC Raiders Database reproduces Celeste’s explanation of the quest as: “Back during the First Wave, my squad and I built a trap out by the Dam. Overloaded a generator, turned it into a makeshift ARC trap. Now I hear Raiders are using it to cut comms and spring ambushes on each other. I need you to end it.” This is a secondary transcription, not an official transcript.
