Neverness to Everness (NTE) is a supernatural urban open-world RPG that launched on April 29, 2026. Developed by Hotta Studio and published by Perfect World Games, it takes place in Hethereau, where players join the antique shop Eibon as an unlicensed Anomaly Hunter. The game is available on Windows PC, iOS, Android, Mac, Google Play PC, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 5 Pro, with cross-platform progress subject to server and account restrictions.
What is Neverness to Everness?
NTE sets its open world in Hethereau, a city where supernatural anomalies are part of everyday life. The player works with Eibon, an antique shop, and takes anomaly commissions to help keep the business running. Hotta Studio producer Kee Zhang described the story as revolving around the anomalies in the city in a PlayStation.Blog feature published July 17, 2024.
Rather than focusing on a conventional fantasy wilderness, the premise combines urban exploration, episodic mysteries, supernatural combat, and activities tied to city life. Companions have Esper abilities that can aid exploration and combat; examples described by the producer include anti-gravity movement and environmental destruction.
What can you do in Hethereau?
Investigate anomalies and fight
Players take public commissions to investigate supernatural incidents, encounter story episodes, and use their companions’ Esper abilities. The game’s descriptions present mysteries and character relationships alongside combat, rather than as separate modes.

Explore and live in the city
Producer updates describe first-person exploration, character invitations and companion rides, a city-reputation system, property and business ownership, taxi and delivery work, fishing, and street races. The city is also described as having pedestrians, shops, and businesses. These are announced game features; individual events and collaborations should not be assumed to remain available indefinitely.
Drive, race, and play with others
Driving is a major part of the city sandbox. Official launch materials describe vehicle purchases and modification, multiple vehicle types, first-person driving, races, weather-affected drifting, and vehicle damage. They also list online mahjong, multiplayer races, and a heist activity. These feature details come from the publisher’s launch description, not independent performance testing.

The producer’s April 2026 update also announced Persona 5 music for in-game car audio and a Porsche partnership. Those announcements do not establish that every related event or item is currently available.
Platforms, cross-progression, and servers
The official launch FAQ lists Windows PC, iOS, Android, Apple Mac, Google Play PC, PS5, and PS5 Pro. It says progress carries across supported platforms. Server data is separate, however: the FAQ lists Asia, America, Europe, and SEA servers, and progress is not shared between them. Choose a server near your region, and use the same login provider when moving between platforms; different third-party login providers can create separate accounts.

The official guide’s pre-download announcement provides the PC and mobile figures above. Its storage note matters on Windows: the 60 GB extraction allowance is temporary space in addition to the 60 GB free-space figure, not a substitute for it.

PS5 controls and PC troubleshooting
For PS5, producer Kee Zhang described support for the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and light-bar effects in the PlayStation.Blog article. The feature is an optional way to play, not a requirement claim.
If the PC launcher has connection trouble, the official FAQ suggests checking the network, VPN, proxy, or hosts-file settings, then restarting the launcher. For resource errors, use the launcher’s Repair files > One-click repair function. The FAQ recommends SSD installation to improve startup and loading.
