If you can’t sign in to Supercell ID, first confirm you’re using the email address linked to the account, then find the newest verification code in that mailbox. Supercell ID uses email codes, not a password. If the code is for Account Protection, it is an SMS code and needs different checks. If those steps do not restore access, contact Supercell through the game’s Help and Support.
First, identify which code the game is asking for
A regular Supercell ID login sends a fresh verification code to the email address linked to the account. Supercell Support describes the service as passwordless: “on login, a fresh verification code is sent to you.” See About Supercell ID.
Account Protection is a separate security feature that may ask for an SMS verification code. Check the prompt: an email login code will be in your mailbox, while an Account Protection code arrives by text. The fixes are not interchangeable.
If you are not receiving the Supercell ID email code
Confirm the linked email address
Use the address already connected to the Supercell ID, not simply an address you can access. If you have several email accounts, check the one you originally linked. Supercell says an email already linked to another Supercell ID cannot be used to create a second one, and some email domains are unsupported. If the official flow explicitly rejects the domain, use another supported address only through that flow. See I CAN’T RECEIVE VERIFICATION CODES.

Search the mailbox and check filtering
- Check spam or junk folders.
- Search the mailbox for “Supercell ID.”
- Review inbox rules and filters that might move or delete the message.
Use the newest code and observe the cooldown
If you requested more than one code, enter only the most recent one; older codes will not work. Supercell Support says three consecutive incorrect code entries trigger a 24-hour wait before another code can be received. Avoid guessing or repeatedly submitting old codes. If Account Protection is not sending an SMS
Use these checks only when the sign-in prompt specifically requests an Account Protection text:

- Check that your mobile connection is stable, then switch airplane mode on and off.
- See whether SMS messages from other senders arrive.
- On Android, check the SMS app’s spam folder.
- If you made many code requests in a short time, wait a couple of hours before trying again, as Supercell advises.
SMS verification is available only when playing in a region where Account Protection is available. Supercell’s instructions are at Not receiving verification codes?.
Recover the account through official in-game Support
If you cannot access the linked email, or the ordinary code checks do not resolve the login problem, contact Support from the game:

- Open the game and go to Settings.
- Choose Help and Support.
- Explain that you cannot access the Supercell ID and include the exact error or step where sign-in fails.
Supercell’s recovery process may ask for details that help establish ownership, such as your player tag, account name, level, club or clan name if applicable, and purchase transaction IDs. Provide information through the official support flow. Never send verification or recovery codes to anyone except Supercell Support. See Contact form.
For an account with Account Protection enabled, recovery may involve SMS verification or recovery codes. If you still have the protected phone number or saved recovery codes, follow the instructions shown by Support rather than trying to bypass the protection.

Why iOS and Android may ask you to sign in again
Saved-login behavior differs by platform. Supercell says uninstalling a game on Android wipes saved Supercell IDs, while resetting an iOS device wipes saved logins. Those changes can explain why the game asks you to sign in again; they do not mean reinstalling the app will restore an inaccessible email or make a missing code arrive. Check the login email and code channel first. See How to play with multiple game accounts.
What the official guidance does—and does not—establish
Supercell’s support pages provide steps for email delivery, SMS verification, saved logins, and account recovery. They do not establish whether a particular login failure is caused by a current outage, unusual account activity, an email provider’s filtering, or a device-specific bug. If the listed checks fail, share the exact error and relevant ownership details through in-game Help and Support.
