What is TCG Card Shop Simulator: Prologue?
Developed and published by OPNeon Games, the Prologue is a single-player shop-management and card-collecting simulation. Steam lists its release date as August 6, 2024, and identifies it as free to play. Its cards and booster packs are activities inside the game; you do not need to buy real trading cards to play.
The central idea is to build up a local game store: keep merchandise on the shelves, set prices, and attract customers and players. The game also gives you a collection loop, letting you open packs and decide whether to keep the cards or sell them.

Run and organize the shop
Sell booster packs and card boxes to earn money for upgrades. You can arrange shelves, tables, and packs, and choose prices for your stock. The in-game phone is used to order more packs and boxes. The store description also says cleanliness affects whether players stay, making upkeep part of managing the shop.

Host games and open packs
Set a format and fee when hosting games in the shop. Away from the management tasks, open booster packs to find cards, then keep them for your collection or sell them. These are in-game systems, not instructions to purchase physical packs.
What does the Prologue include—and what is limited?
OPNeon Games describes the Prologue as a limited version of the full game. Progression is restricted, and the available types of items and shelves are limited. The collection section specifically says that only common cards are available in the Prologue.

The official listing does not quantify a playtime or a precise progression endpoint. It points players to the full game for the complete card-shop and card-collecting experience, so do not assume the Prologue contains every feature or item from that version.
