Viktor, Mel, and Warwick arrived in Teamfight Tactics with patch 14.24, released on December 10, 2024—not in an upcoming patch. Riot added all three as rare 6-cost units that appear after the Anomaly.
What patch added Viktor, Mel, and Warwick to TFT?
Riot’s patch 14.24 notes, published December 10, 2024, introduced the trio to the Into the Arcane set. The notes describe Viktor, Mel, and Warwick as “6-costs, ultrapowerful, and incredibly rare units that appear after the Anomaly.” The patch-note authors are Rodger “Riot Prism” Caudill and Katie “Riot Ukime” Guo.

The Anomaly is encountered at Stage 4-6: players send one unit in and select a permanent effect. Patch 14.24 then expanded the set with Viktor, Mel, and Warwick, alongside new Augments, Anomalies, Opening Encounters, and balance changes, as Riot’s 14.24 notes explain.

No. “Next patch” referred to patch 14.24 when the announcement was published in December 2024. Riot’s TFT patch-notes archive lists patch 18.4 dated October 6, 2026, so the Viktor, Mel, and Warwick addition is a past update, not an imminent one.
