Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Yes—but only in a reported glitch, not during ordinary play. The sequence can put Yoshi into the final Bowser fight and time his attempt to eat a falling Super Mushroom as Peach appears in its place. In the reported outcome, Peach vanishes, the normal ending does not play, and Mario and Yoshi remain staring at each other.
How the reported glitch works
GameSpot reported on January 15, 2026, that the scene was showcased by Supper Mario Broth. In the account, a glitch places Yoshi in the reserve item box, allowing him to reach a fight where the game normally does not let the player bring him. The player then has to manage a Super Mushroom so Yoshi tries to eat it as it falls and Peach replaces it, while also defeating Bowser. The account describes precise timing but does not establish a reproducible, step-by-step input sequence.

Nintendo Everything reported the same day on the finding, attributing it to switchpalacecorner and noting that Supper Mario Broth relayed it. That is contemporaneous coverage of the claim, not independent technical verification. Neither report establishes which game revision or region was used.
What happens after Peach is eaten
According to the reported demonstration, Peach disappears and the regular ending sequence fails to play. Mario and Yoshi remain in a staring scene. Supper Mario Broth’s statement, reproduced by GameSpot, was: “With Peach gone, the ending will not play, and Mario and Yoshi will simply stare at each other forever.” This describes the glitch’s reported result, not an intended canonical ending.

- Explore a seamless feline world in Lake Lapcat, complete objectives to collect Cat Shines, and defeat a giant Bowser in the new Bowser’s Fury adventure
How this differs from normal Yoshi gameplay
Nintendo’s official Super Mario World manual documents Yoshi eating berries and enemies with his tongue; it does not document eating Peach or entering the final Bowser battle. The Peach scene depends on the reported glitch setup, rather than a normal game mechanic.
