The Logitech G432 works with Xbox One through its 3.5 mm cable, plugged into the headset jack on the Xbox controller. It should also work on Xbox Series X|S through that same controller connection: Xbox supports headsets connected to the Xbox Wireless Controller’s 3.5 mm port, and Logitech documents the G432’s wired console use. Logitech’s G432-specific support list names Xbox One, however, rather than listing Series X|S separately.
How to connect the Logitech G432 to Xbox
- Find the 3.5 mm headset jack on your Xbox controller.
- Connect the G432’s 3.5 mm cable to that jack. Logitech identifies this as the headset’s console connection method.
- Check the console’s audio settings if you need to adjust headset volume or chat/game audio balance.
Xbox says headsets connected through the Xbox Wireless Controller’s 3.5 mm port are supported. See Xbox Wire’s controller compatibility statement and Logitech’s G432/G431 console compatibility page.
Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S compatibility
Xbox One
Logitech explicitly lists Xbox One as supported for the G432/G431 when connected by 3.5 mm cable. The company cautions that some console setups may require specific adapter or cable configurations, so check your controller’s ports if the direct connection is unavailable.
Xbox Series X|S
The connection path supports use on Series X|S: Xbox’s guidance covers headsets connected to the Xbox Wireless Controller’s 3.5 mm port, while Logitech documents 3.5 mm console use for the G432. Logitech’s G432-specific compatibility list does not separately name Series X|S, so this conclusion is based on the documented controller-port compatibility rather than an explicit G432 Series X|S listing.
#1 Best Overall
- Enjoy expansive cinematic sound. Big 50 mm audio drivers deliver an incredible sound experience
- Hear Enemies From All Sides. DTS Headphone:X 2.0 surround sound(1) lets you hear enemies sneaking behind you, special ability cues, and immersive environments. It’s positional clarity that can make the difference between victory and defeat. Experience three-dimensional audio that goes beyond 7.1 channels to make you feel like you’re right in the middle of the action. (1) DTS Headphone:X 2.0 requires Logitech G HUB Software.
- Be Heard Loud and Clear. The big 6 mm boom mic makes sure you’re heard by gaming partners and mutes when flipped up.
- Use One Headset For Most Game Platforms. Your headphones work with your PC or Mac via USB DAC or 3.5 mm cable, mobile devices with 3.5 mm cable or with gaming consoles including PlayStationⓇ 5 and PlayStationⓇ 4 (USB wireless stereo sound only), Nintendo Switch (wireless stereo sound when docked)
- Game for Hours in Comfort. Everything about these headphones is about comfort: The deluxe lightweight leatherette ear cups and headband are made to keep pressure off your ears. Ear cups rotate up to 90 degrees for convenience.
Use the 3.5 mm cable, not the USB DAC
The G432 includes a USB DAC, but Logitech documents that accessory for PC, PlayStation 4, and docked Nintendo Switch. For Xbox, use the headset’s 3.5 mm cable with the controller; the available documentation does not direct Xbox users to connect the USB DAC. Logitech’s G432 product page describes its console connection and platform-specific features.
What features work over the Xbox connection?
Logitech says DTS Headphone:X 2.0 surround sound and EQ presets require Windows and Logitech G HUB. Those are PC software features, so do not expect them to be available through the G432’s analog connection to an Xbox controller. The cited Xbox guidance confirms headset support through the controller jack; it does not establish Xbox support for Logitech’s Windows software features.

What if your controller has no headset jack?
The direct setup requires a controller with a 3.5 mm headset port. If yours lacks one, identify the exact controller model and check its available ports and compatible adapter options before buying anything. Logitech warns that some console configurations may need a specific adapter or cable; an adapter is not automatically required for every Xbox setup.
