Astro Bot’s eight documented photo spots offer a mix of a hub-area snapshot and themed level scenes. To take a picture, first unlock Photo Mode by reaching Safari Park at Crash Site; Game8’s September 18, 2024 guide says this requires 64 Puzzle Pieces. Once Photo Mode is available, press Up on the D-pad to bring out the camera. Taking a photo at any designated spot earns the Strike a Pose! trophy.
The locations below are a checklist, not an official ranking. For a varied shortlist, try Crash Site, snowy Creamy Canyon, and either Ghouls & Bots or Danger Dojo.

How to unlock Photo Mode and take a photo
- Collect 64 Puzzle Pieces and unlock Safari Park at Crash Site. Game8’s September 18, 2024 guide says the first visit to Safari Park unlocks Photo Mode.
- Once Photo Mode is unlocked, press Up on the D-pad to take out the camera.
- Find one of the designated spots below and take a picture there to earn the Strike a Pose! trophy.
These unlock and camera instructions come from Game8’s guide; the official PlayStation materials cited here do not independently detail Photo Mode.

Creamy Canyon
Near the start, flip the ladybug and use it to reach the left ledge. Pull the wires there to reveal the spot.

Boxel Bust-Up
Pull the wires beside a platform to open a ramp, then climb to the high ledge.

Which photo spots are worth prioritizing?
There is no source-established definitive winner. A useful personal shortlist is to choose for variety: one hub-area view, one environmental scene, and one level with a distinct theme. Crash Site covers the hub; Creamy Canyon is the snowbound option; Ghouls & Bots and Danger Dojo offer different themed settings. That is an editorial way to narrow the checklist, not a tested ranking or a claim about how the scenes look in a particular screenshot.
The variety fits the game’s wider range of settings. In PlayStation’s May 30, 2024 launch announcement, Team ASOBI studio head Nicolas Doucet described environments ranging from forests, beaches, and volcanoes to a gigantic hourglass and a singing tree. Sony’s current product page describes Astro Bot as a PS5 3D action platformer with more than 50 planets and more than 300 bots.

Do the extra challenge levels add more photo spots?
PlayStation says five additional downloadable challenge levels are available at no additional cost to Astro Bot players and require completion of the main game to access. The available photo-spot list does not identify any additional spots in those levels, so the eight locations above are the documented checklist—not a claim that no other photo opportunities exist.
