Xbox Spring Sale 2025: What Was on Offer and When It Ended

The Xbox Spring Sale covered in Engadget’s April 17, 2025 article has ended: it was scheduled to run through April 30, 2025. Its listed prices are historical examples, not offers confirmed as available now.

When did the 2025 Xbox Spring Sale run?

Engadget reported the sale as live on April 17, 2025, and said it would last until April 30, 2025. Those dates refer to that promotion; they do not establish whether any listed game is discounted today. Engadget’s April 17, 2025 report

The article highlighted three historical US-dollar examples: Red Dead Redemption 2 for $15, Elden Ring for $36, and 20% off Baldur’s Gate 3. These are the prices and discount reported at the time, not current prices. The source does not establish the relevant editions or bundles for each example, nor provide a complete sale catalogue. Could shoppers find both Xbox and PC games?

Yes. The sale included console and PC games, according to the article. Engadget described using the store’s “Play with” option to filter by platform, so shoppers could narrow the displayed offers to the platform they intended to play on. The report does not establish current platform availability for any individual title. Engadget’s sale overview

Are these offers available now?

No current availability follows from the 2025 article: its stated sale period ended April 30, 2025. A separate 2026 Xbox Spring Sale appeared in later search results, but that is a different event. Available reporting did not settle its current status or conflicting end dates, so it should not be treated as confirmation that these 2025 offers—or equivalent discounts—are live.
