Sony announced four Monthly Games for March 2026. The selection ranged from golf and cooperative monster hunting to a ranching adventure and a large online fantasy world. Platform availability differed by game.

PGA Tour 2K25: golf, career play and course design
The PS5 golf simulator features the PGA Championship, U.S. Open and The Open Championship making their PGA TOUR 2K debut. Sony also highlights an expanded MyCareer, MyPlayer customization, Skill Trees and Course Designer tools, alongside ranked, casual and cross-platform multiplayer.

Monster Hunter Rise: hunt, gather and upgrade
Available for PS5 and PS4, Monster Hunter Rise offers 14 weapon types and supports solo play or squads of up to four. Its central loop is straightforward: hunt monsters, collect materials, then use those materials to craft and improve weapons and armor. Sony describes its story as inspired by ancient Japanese folklore. In the announcement, Sony Interactive Entertainment Director of Content Acquisition & Operations Adam Michel called it “a story inspired by ancient Japanese folklore” as part of a description of the series’ new gameplay features and original monsters.
Slime Rancher 2: farm management meets exploration
In this PS5 sequel, Beatrix LeBeau explores Rainbow Island while building, ranching and farming in a conservatory. Sony described the original Slime Rancher as having “over 15 million fans worldwide”; that is Sony’s characterization of the original game’s audience, not a sales figure, and the announcement does not give a separate measurement date or explain how “fans” was counted.

The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road: a broad online world
This PS5 and PS4 collection is the lineup’s multiplayer fantasy-world option, with exploration and PvP. Sony says it grants access to all major Chapter zones, biomes and quest arcs across Tamriel. The 2025 Content Pass is not included.
Were the March games free with PS Plus?
They were included as Monthly Games for PlayStation Plus members during the announced claim period; they were not an unconditional giveaway. Sony’s current U.S. membership overview lists Monthly Games as a benefit of Essential, Extra and Premium. Extra and Premium also include Game Catalog benefits. Membership terms and offers can differ by country, so check the local PlayStation Plus page for current details.

Can you still claim the March 2026 games?
