Theorycraft Games’ Supervive open beta began on November 20, 2024—not later that year as the original reveal had forecast. The free-to-play squad-based hero battle royale subsequently reached Steam version 1.0 in July 2025, but its live service was announced to end in February 2026. The beta is a past event, and the game should not be treated as currently playable.

What was Supervive?

Announced by Theorycraft Games in June 2024, Supervive was the studio’s first game, previously known by the codename Project Loki. It was presented as a free-to-play, squad-based hero battle royale set on a sky-bound map: teams fought while a storm closed in. The reveal also described duos, four-player squads, and a 4v4 deathmatch mode. GamesBeat’s June 25, 2024 announcement coverage

When did the open beta start, and where was it available?

The original announcement anticipated an open beta in late 2024. Theorycraft later set the start for November 20, 2024. Its announcement listed North America, Europe, and Asia as participating regions, with access in Korea through NEXON. That means Asia was included in the announced beta regions; the announcement does not establish the availability of a separate Asian server. Theorycraft Games’ November 4, 2024 beta announcement

What did Theorycraft report about the beta playtest?

The November 2024 announcement shared figures from the Steam Next Fest playtest week. These were company-reported metrics, not independently audited measurements:

What happened after the beta?

Theorycraft announced that Supervive would launch globally as version 1.0 on Steam on July 24, 2025. The studio described the release as a substantial overhaul of progression, structure, the map, and other systems. In that announcement, Theorycraft said the Early Access game had received more than 17,000 Steam reviews with a 90% positive rating; that is the publisher’s figure at the time of its announcement, not a current review count. In February 2026, the game’s live service was announced to end. Dot Esports reported on the developer’s end-of-service announcement, but the available reporting does not establish an exact final service date. Dot Esports’ report on the end-of-service announcement

Is Supervive playable now?

No: the beta and 1.0 launch are historical events, and the live service was announced to end in February 2026. The exact cutoff day is not established by the available reporting, so it is not possible to give a more precise end date here. Dot Esports’ report on the end-of-service announcement
