Start by learning how your Arsenal moves and fights on the ground and in the air, then experiment with the weapons and armor you collect. Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion is built around exploration, combat, equipment customization, and skill upgrades—not a single required beginner build. These tips focus on choices the official game materials describe, without assuming a best weapon or upgrade path.
1. Learn movement in both ground and aerial combat
You can explore and fight on land and in the air. In the opening, take time to understand how your Arsenal moves in each context and how movement affects your aim and positioning. For exact inputs, use the in-game tutorial or controls menu: bindings can depend on your platform, and the official Combat Basics video listing does not provide verified button instructions here.
2. Try different weapons before settling on a style
The official combat overview describes close-range blades as well as heavy ranged weapons such as missiles and railguns. It also describes changing equipment taken from defeated enemies during combat. Treat these as options to explore, not a ranking: no single best beginner weapon is established.
When a weapon feels awkward, try another style before assuming you need a particular build. A close-range approach and a heavy ranged approach ask you to engage differently, so switching can help you discover what suits you.

3. Compare armor, weapons, and attachments as a set
Arsenal customization includes armor parts, weapons, and attachments. Armor combinations affect mobility and defense, so compare how your setup feels rather than choosing pieces by appearance alone. Change a small number of parts at a time; it is easier to notice what each change does to your preferred play style.
There are no verified numerical stat targets or universally strongest combinations to follow. A useful comparison is whether you prefer the mobility of one armor setup or the defense of another, and whether your weapons fit how you want to fight.

4. Learn the three particle armament roles
Particle armaments consume Femto, and the official combat description gives each shift a distinct role:
- Assault Shift: supports automatic attacks.
- Shield Shift: negates attacks.
- Wing Shift: enables faster movement.
Try to recognize which role fits the situation rather than treating one shift as the default. Exact activation inputs, durations, and resource amounts are not specified in the cited official description.

- They say it was the greatest disaster in recorded history…
- The moon tore apart, turning the sky into a kaleidoscope of red light that illuminated all who watched from below.
- Survive this apocalyptic new age when the self-evolving weapons called “Immortals” have turned on their creators and waged war on humanity.
5. Explore, complete orders, and collect equipment
Exploration and orders are part of the game’s core loop, and equipment can come from both defeated enemies and field exploration. The official customization page also describes finding equipment or blueprints this way. As your options expand, try new parts and update skills; the official materials do not establish one required order for skill upgrades.
6. Consider co-op if a mission or boss is a roadblock
The official game site confirms online cooperative play for story missions and boss fights. It is an option if you want help, not a requirement. Specific matchmaking steps and prerequisites are not established here.
