Prepare for Pan
Game8 recommends level 18 and fire resistance, but level 18 is a guide recommendation, not a stated requirement. The guide identifies fire as Pan’s element and burning as the associated affliction. It also favors ranged skills or weapons because Pan moves frequently and several attacks make distance useful. That is a tactical preference, not evidence that melee builds cannot win.
- Build for survival: Add fire resistance where your character’s gear or abilities allow.
- Keep space open: Avoid letting fire trails or arena positioning leave you without a clear route to dodge.
- Manage defenses: Keep Barrier and dodges available for attacks that are difficult to avoid by repositioning alone.
- Use your build: Ranged attacks can help maintain distance, but prioritize reliable damage and movement over a specific weapon or skill setup.
These are recommendations from Game8’s August 2025 guide, not an official build prescription. THQ Nordic’s official site and Early Access Content Update 7 notes indicate that the game has continued to receive updates, but the cited official material does not confirm whether Pan’s moves, recommended level, or rewards have changed: THQ Nordic’s Titan Quest II site and Early Access Content Update 7 patch notes.

Game8 describes these attack patterns and responses. Treat them as guidance from that dated third-party source rather than verified current-version mechanics.

Where to find Pan and what follows
Pan is at the final part of Pan’s Sanctum, on a circular hilltop arena in the Flooded Farmlands. In the Act 1 quest sequence, you reach the fight after the Cave of Pan portion of The Wild God. Game8’s walkthrough says defeating Pan leads to meeting Glaukos and continuing toward Moirai’s Temple.

Game8 lists 18,250 EXP, Pan’s Horn, and randomized weapons, armor, and accessories as rewards. These are figures and drops reported by the guide in 2025, not independently verified current game data. The guide also cautions that a unique item in a boss’s reward pool may not drop on every defeat.
