Hints for Connections #382

Try each clue before moving on to the next level. The puzzle’s 16 words are BOND, WING, RUSH, KISSES, HUNT, LEAF, SEARCH, PARTY, ALWAYS, CAMP, YOURS, MINE, CHASE, SIDE, QUEST, and LOVE.

  • Yellow: “Follow them!”
  • Green: “I you”
  • Blue: “Sub-group”
  • Purple: “All that glitters.”

How Connections works

Connections gives players 16 words and asks them to sort them into four groups of four based on a shared theme. Each group has a color—yellow, green, blue, or purple—that indicates increasing difficulty, with yellow the easiest and purple the trickiest. Words may appear to fit more than one category, so the challenge is finding the intended connection.

The New York Times describes it as “a word game that challenges players to find themes between words.” The daily game releases at midnight in the player’s timezone and is available on the NYT Games website and in NYT apps. The archive reaches back to June 12, 2023; archive access is for subscribers. See the NYT Connections Help Center for current details.
