Today’s NYT Strands hints for March 18
Use these clues in order if you want help without seeing every solution at once.
- Theme: “It follows.”
- Gentle clue: Not death…
- Spangram: It has nine letters. Its path begins at the top edge in the first column and ends at the bottom edge in the fourth column.
How Strands works
The puzzle uses a 6-by-8 letter grid. Connect adjacent letters in any direction to form words related to the theme; the answers fill the board. The spangram describes the theme, touches two opposite sides, and is highlighted in yellow when found.
Finding three non-theme words earns an in-game hint. The hint reveals the letters of a theme answer; if a hint is already active, it shows the letters in their correct order.
