Yellow — California-based character tropes
MOVIE EXEC, SURFER, TECH BRO, VALLEY GIRL
Green — Comedy subgenres
BUDDY, CRINGE, SCREWBALL, STONER
Blue — 1970s rock bands
AMERICA, CHICAGO, FOREIGNER, JOURNEY
Purple — Black ___
FOREST, FRIDAY, PANTHER, WIDOW
Why the groups fit
The yellow set combines California-associated character types: a movie executive, surfer, tech bro, and Valley girl. The green words name comedy subgenres, not four individual movie titles. The blue set consists of band names. For purple, add “Black” before each word: Black Forest, Black Friday, Black Panther, and Black Widow.
