Yes—Palworld’s current dedicated-server documentation includes PS5 in its crossplay platform list. For server-based play, PS5 players need to join through a community server. The official sources establish that route, but do not confirm that PS5 can join every privately hosted, client-based co-op world.
Can PS5 play Palworld with PC or Xbox?
For server-based play, yes. Pocketpair’s Palworld Server Guide, version 1.0.4, lists Steam, Xbox, PS5, and Mac as the default platforms allowed to connect to a server. That supports crossplay among those platforms when the server is current and configured to allow them.
This is a server-crossplay answer, not a guarantee for every multiplayer mode. The current official sources establish the server route; they do not spell out whether a PS5 player can join every direct, client-hosted private world.
How can a PS5 player join a Palworld server?
Pocketpair distinguishes community servers from dedicated servers by their availability in Palworld’s in-game server list. Its server overview says PS5 players need to use a community server. The server host must operate and configure a compatible server, and the intended platforms must be permitted.

- Choose a current Palworld server that allows the platforms your group uses. The version 1.0.4 configuration guide lists
CrossplayPlatformswith a default of(Steam,Xbox,PS5,Mac); a host can check the server’s setting against that list. - Make the server available as a community server. Pocketpair’s server deployment instructions describe using
-publiclobbyto configure a server as a community server. - On PS5, find and join the server through the in-game community-server list.
Being listed as a supported platform does not mean every server is automatically joinable: the server’s version, platform settings, and community-server availability matter.
Does PS5 crossplay require PS Plus?
PlayStation’s Palworld product listing says PS Plus is required for online play and lists up to four online players. That four-player figure is PlayStation’s product-page listing, not a stated maximum for a dedicated server. The listing identifies the online-play requirement; it does not establish a separate fee for crossplay.

Why do some pages say PS5 crossplay is unavailable?
An older, versioned Palworld Server Guide, version 0.5.0, says, “Cross-play with the PS5 version is currently unavailable.” That statement applies to the older documentation. Pocketpair’s current version 1.0.4 configuration guide includes PS5 in the default server crossplay platform list, and its current server overview gives PS5 players the community-server route. The version difference explains why older search results may conflict with the current server guidance.
