Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 launched on May 30, 2025, adding Ultron and the Hellfire Gala: Arakko Convoy map alongside extensive hero balance changes. The official patch notes are dated May 23, while the Version 20250530 balance post was published May 22. The values below describe that historical update—not the game’s current live balance.
What Season 2.5 added
Season 2.5’s headline additions were Ultron as a playable hero and Hellfire Gala: Arakko, a new Convoy map. The developer described the update as bringing six Team-Ups in, removing four, and adjusting one; it also said more than 50% of Team-Ups had been revamped since Season 0. These are the developers’ Season 2.5 changes, not evidence of how each hero performed afterward. A reduced cooldown or increased damage can point in a favorable direction for a particular mechanic, but patch notes alone do not establish overall strength, pick rates, win rates, or competitive results. Later updates may also have changed the live game.
