Usually, no. In ARK’s documented separate boss arenas, Giganotosaurus (a Giga) is listed as unable to enter: its listed drag weight is 950, while the arena limit is less than 560. Extinction is the key exception because its Titan encounters take place on the map rather than in a separate arena.
Why can’t a Giga enter most boss arenas?
The ARK Official Community Wiki’s Boss Arenas guide lists Giganotosaurus as inaccessible under the documented arena-entry rules. The guide gives the creature a drag weight of 950 and says creatures must have a drag weight below 560 to enter those arenas. A standard Giga therefore exceeds the stated threshold.

Does the answer change for Extinction?
Yes. Extinction’s Titan encounters happen in the map rather than in a separate teleport arena, so the documented arena-entry restrictions do not apply there. This is an encounter-format exception, not evidence that a Giga can enter the separate arenas on other maps.
Do all boss arenas use identical creature rules?
No. The wiki notes arena-specific exceptions to the general restrictions: flyers are allowed in Scorched Earth’s arena, climbers in Aberration, and sea creatures in Genesis: Moeder. These exceptions do not establish Giganotosaurus eligibility; check the rule for the particular map and encounter.

What about server settings, mods, or workarounds?
The listed compatibility rule describes standard arena entry, not every game version or customized setup. Server configuration and mods may change what is possible, but the cited guide does not establish whether any particular workaround or modded variant works. Check the exact map, encounter, and server rules before relying on an exception.
How many creatures can enter?
For the general documented arena rule, the wiki lists a maximum of 10 survivors and 20 creatures. It treats the Tek Cave separately, so those figures should not be assumed to describe that encounter’s limits.
