When did Borderlands 4 come out on Nintendo Switch 2?
The Nintendo Switch 2 version was scheduled to become available on October 3, 2025, after the main launch. The cited 2K launch announcement gives the date, but not exact regional unlock times, so a specific Switch 2 release hour by region cannot be confirmed from that announcement.
Platforms and edition formats
The current Borderlands Support FAQ lists Steam, the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S as supported platforms. It says the Standard Edition is available physically for consoles and digitally across all supported platforms. Edition format does not establish a different release time.

The main launch date is commonly given as September 12, 2025, while the official schedule shows that the launch instant fell on September 11 in London, New York, and San Francisco. Both dates are correct for their respective local time zones; the difference does not indicate two separate launches.
