Lingsha is a five-star Fire Abundance sustain whose summoned incense beast, Fuyuan, combines recurring AoE follow-up attacks with healing and cleansing. Her build depends on whether you want her primarily to sustain a Break team or add frequent attacks and AoE support; in either case, Fuyuan uptime and your team’s Skill Point budget shape how she plays.
What Lingsha does
Lingsha sustains the party while contributing damage and utility. Fuyuan acts repeatedly to attack enemies, and Lingsha’s kit provides team healing, emergency recovery, AoE cleansing, Toughness damage, and a debuff that increases Break damage received. Her attack frequency and AoE make her useful beyond a conventional healer role.
Skill: Smoke and Splendor
Smoke and Splendor deals Fire damage to all enemies, heals all allies, and advances Fuyuan’s action. It is also the only way to increase Fuyuan’s action count, so using the Skill periodically is central to keeping the summon active. The tradeoff is Skill Point use: Skill casts support Fuyuan’s activity and Lingsha’s debuff upkeep, while Basic Attacks conserve points for teammates.
Befog and Break timing
Befog is a two-turn debuff that increases Break damage received. When the team relies on Break damage, try to keep it active before enemies become Weakness Broken. This makes Lingsha’s Skill frequency a team-management decision, not simply a choice between healing and damage.

How to build Lingsha
The current HSR Build guide is labeled version 4.6 and was updated September 26, 2026. Its leading recommendations are Scent Alone Stays True, Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge, and Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern. Treat these as a current starting point rather than fixed requirements: the better choice depends on team role, enemy weakness, Skill Point availability, and whether you need more energy, Break Effect, or utility. HSR Build’s Lingsha Build & Teams guide provides the current build summary.
Recommended stats
| Slot or priority | Recommendation | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Body | Outgoing Healing | Supports her sustain role. |
| Feet | Speed | Helps her act and manage Fuyuan’s activity. |
| Planar sphere | ATK% | Listed as the current guide’s main-stat recommendation. |
| Link rope | Energy Regeneration Rate or Break Effect | Choose according to whether energy or Break contribution is the larger need. |
| Substat priority | Speed to the desired breakpoint, then Break Effect and ATK% | Priorities vary with the intended build and team. |
Break Effect thresholds are contextual
KeqingMains’ guide, marked for version 3.0, says Lingsha’s A2 Break Effect bonus reaches its cap at 200% Break Effect. It describes 250% as relevant to Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge’s additional Super Break benefit. These are targets tied to particular effects, not universal minimums for every build; team buffs from Fugue or Imaginary Trailblazer can help reach the higher threshold. KeqingMains also cautions that optimizing for more than 150 Speed is useful only for specific action timings and high-level challenges, not as a general target. Read KeqingMains’ Lingsha Quick Guide for mechanics and theorycrafting context.

Light Cones
Scent Alone Stays True is the current guide’s lead Light Cone and KeqingMains’ best-in-slot recommendation for Break teams. Alternatives serve different needs: Quid Pro Quo, Post-Op Conversation, and What Is Real? appear in the current build guide’s alternatives; KeqingMains also discusses Echoes of the Coffin, Night of Fright, and Dream’s Montage according to energy needs, enemy count, and how often Lingsha uses her Skill. The choice is therefore about the team’s needs, not a single mandatory replacement order.
Relic sets
Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge is the current guide’s leading set and is a strong fit when building Lingsha for personal Break damage. KeqingMains also identifies Thief of Shooting Meteor as an option in some Fire-weak Pure Fiction situations. Passerby of Wandering Cloud can be useful when an extra starting Skill Point helps the team’s opening.

Planar ornaments
Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern is the current guide’s lead planar ornament, offering Speed and Break Effect; its set effect requires at least one Fire-weak enemy. Talia: Kingdom of Banditry is an unconditional Break Effect alternative if that condition is not met.
Choose a build by role and team constraints
- Break sustain: Favor Speed and Break Effect, use Befog to support Break damage, and consider Iron Cavalry when Lingsha’s personal Break contribution matters.
- General sustain or AoE support: Keep healing and cleansing as the priority; use stat and equipment choices that help the team rather than chasing a Break threshold without a reason.
- Skill Point pressure: If teammates need frequent Skills, use Lingsha’s Basic Attack when practical and spend Skills when Fuyuan uptime, healing, or Befog maintenance is worth the point.
- Enemy weakness: Kalpagni’s set effect depends on facing at least one Fire-weak enemy; without that condition, Talia avoids the restriction.

AoE and follow-up teams
KeqingMains gives Lingsha, Himeko, Herta, and Ruan Mei as an AoE example. Lingsha’s repeated AoE Toughness damage can help Himeko trigger her follow-up talent against Fire-weak enemies. In other follow-up-oriented teams, Lingsha’s frequent allied attacks can support teammates that benefit from repeated attacks; weigh that value against the team’s Skill Point demands.
Which guide is current?
For build rankings, the HSR Build page identifies itself as a version 4.6 guide updated September 26, 2026. KeqingMains labels its detailed guide version 3.0; it remains useful here for the specific mechanics, conditional set choices, and Break-versus-AoE build reasoning described above. The version labels refer to the guides, not to a claim that every mechanic or recommendation has been independently retested for the same update.
