Spoilers: This guide covers the Act 2 and Act 3 ending routes, late-game quests, and the bonus epilogue. Silksong has four main ending routes—Weaver Queen, Twisted Child, Snared Silk, and Sister of the Void—plus the Passing of the Age bonus scene. If you want Twisted Child, complete it before choosing the Needolin prompt that advances you into Act 3.

Weaver Queen: bind Grand Mother Silk in Act 2
At the end of Act 2, defeat Grand Mother Silk and choose Bind. This produces the Weaver Queen ending, in which Hornet takes Grand Mother Silk’s silk and becomes the new power in Pharloom. The save can be continued afterward so you can pursue Act 3 content. PC Gamer’s ending guide and Nintendo Life’s ending guide describe this route.
Twisted Child: defeat Grand Mother Silk while cursed
Twisted Child is the Act 2 route most clearly at risk of being locked out. Hornet must have the Twisted Bud curse active when she defeats Grand Mother Silk. Do this before completing Snared Silk and entering Act 3.
- Find the Twisted Bud in Bilewater.
- Give it to Greyroot in Shellwood to complete the Rite of Rebirth wish and become cursed.
- While the curse is active, defeat Grand Mother Silk in Act 2.
PC Gamer reports that removing the curse through Infestation Operation disables this ending. If you want to limit the time spent dealing with the curse’s drawbacks, you can wait until you are ready to approach the boss before becoming infected. If you also want Weaver Queen, the cited guides indicate you can return to the Act 2 boss route before moving into Act 3, but they do not fully document save-state rules. Secure Twisted Child before choosing the Act 3 transition.
Snared Silk: choose Needolin after Silk and Soul
Complete the Silk and Soul wish, defeat Grand Mother Silk, and choose the Needolin prompt instead of Bind. The Caretaker’s Soul Snare traps Grand Mother Silk; the ensuing sequence leads into Act 3.

Reported checklist for unlocking Act 3
Nintendo Life describes the following checklist as a route that worked for its guide, while noting that the exact requirements were still under debate. Treat it as reported guidance, not a definitive list of developer-confirmed prerequisites. Nintendo Life’s Silk and Soul guide
- Collect the Threefold Melodies and unlock The Cradle.
- Complete every wish on the Bone Bottom, Bellhart, and Songclave wish boards.
- Acquire Bellhome in Bellhart.
- Finish Shakra’s Trail’s End wish, including buying all maps.
- Explore Bilewater and the Putrified Ducts.
- Move the Flea Caravan to Pale Lake in the Putrified Ducts; the guide associates this with roughly 25 fleas.
- Complete Silk and Soul.
After the Snared Silk credits, select the save to continue. Act 3 adds quests and bosses and changes Pharloom’s world state, with a darker atmosphere.

Sister of the Void: reach the Abyss and defeat Lost Lace
In Act 3, follow the late-game route into the Abyss and defeat Lost Lace. PC Gamer describes access as following The Dark Below and The Old Hearts quests; Nintendo Life summarizes the path as collecting three Old Hearts and returning through the Abyss. The guides agree on the essential outcome: completing the Abyss route and beating Lost Lace produces Sister of the Void. PC Gamer · Nintendo Life
Passing of the Age: find Mister Mushroom for the bonus epilogue
Passing of the Age is a separate Act 3 quest that adds a bonus scene after the Act 3 ending sequence. Some walkthroughs count it among the endings, but it is better understood as an epilogue attached to completing that ending.

- Travel to the eastern Putrified Ducts near Pale Lake and Fleatopia. Use Silk Soar to reach the hidden area and inspect the stone tablet to begin the quest.
- Find Mister Mushroom at seven locations across Pharloom. At each mushroom mound, play the Needolin to reveal him, then speak with him.
- Complete the final encounter, reached by a demanding platforming section near The Cradle.
- Finish the Act 3 boss sequence to see the bonus scene.

- In Act 2, activate the Twisted Bud curse and defeat Grand Mother Silk to get Twisted Child.
- Return to the Act 2 boss route and choose Bind for Weaver Queen, if you want that route on the same save.
- Complete Silk and Soul, then choose Needolin after the boss fight for Snared Silk and access to Act 3.
- In Act 3, complete the Old Hearts/Abyss route and defeat Lost Lace for Sister of the Void.
- Complete Passing of the Age and finish the Act 3 boss sequence for the bonus epilogue scene.
Ending-route conditions here are reported by secondary walkthroughs rather than versioned Team Cherry documentation. In particular, the precise Act 3 unlock checklist is not established as definitive.
