Buzzwole is a Bug- and Fighting-type raid boss, and Flying-type attacks are its clearest weakness: they deal 2.56× damage. Fire, Psychic and Fairy attacks deal 1.6× damage. The available type data identifies useful attack types, but it does not establish a best-counter ranking or whether Buzzwole can be beaten solo.
What is Buzzwole weak to in Pokémon GO?
Buzzwole is Bug/Fighting. Flying attacks exploit its strongest listed weakness, dealing 2.56× damage; Fire, Psychic and Fairy attacks each deal 1.6× damage, according to Bulbapedia’s Pokémon GO entry.
When choosing a team, prioritize attackers that can use these types effectively, then consider their damage output, ability to stay in the battle, and the moves they actually have available. That is a type-based selection guide, not a simulated counter ranking.
Buzzwole’s raid moves
Buzzwole’s listed fast attacks are Counter and Poison Jab. Its charged attacks are Power-Up Punch, Fell Stinger, Lunge and Superpower. The moves it uses can affect how much damage your team takes, so survivability matters alongside exploiting its weaknesses. These are the moves listed in Bulbapedia’s Pokémon GO entry.

Can you beat Buzzwole solo?
The available sources do not establish a minimum trainer count or solo- or duo-clear feasibility. That depends on factors such as the attackers and moves each player brings, so this guide cannot responsibly promise a solo win or name a minimum group size. Use a current raid simulator or battle with your intended team to assess a specific lineup.
Is Buzzwole in raids right now?
Buzzwole is not listed in Pokémon GO Hub’s October 2026 five-star raid schedule. That schedule names Yveltal for October 7–13, Dialga for October 14–20, Palkia for October 21–27, and Origin Forme Giratina for October 28–November 3. Check the in-game raid screen or a current schedule before organizing a group, since rotations change.
