Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.1’s drip marketing revealed Acheron, Aventurine, and Gallagher. HoYoverse’s final classifications list Acheron as a five-star Lightning character on the Nihility Path, Aventurine as a five-star Imaginary character on the Preservation Path, and Gallagher as a four-star Fire character on the Abundance Path. Version 2.1, “Into the Yawning Chasm,” launched on March 27, 2024.
Which characters were revealed for Honkai: Star Rail 2.1?
The three characters were Acheron, Aventurine, and Gallagher. HoYoverse’s official Version 2.1 update notice confirms their in-game rarity, Path, and damage type:
| Character | Rarity | Path | Damage type |
|---|---|---|---|
| Acheron | 5-star | Nihility | Lightning |
| Aventurine | 5-star | Preservation | Imaginary |
| Gallagher | 4-star | Abundance | Fire |
These classifications identify each character’s rarity, Path, and damage type; they do not, by themselves, establish a character’s performance or value in a team.
When did Version 2.1 launch?
HoYoverse titled Version 2.1 “Into the Yawning Chasm” and announced its launch for March 27, 2024. A Beebom article updated April 2, 2024, retained a pre-release estimate of March 22; the official update notice gives the correct launch date.
