Check Fortnite’s in-game Item Shop and Epic’s official channels in case the Outfit returns or a new promotion is announced.
Is the Freediver Outfit still free in Fortnite?
There is no confirmed way to get Freediver for free right now. The reported deadline for earning it through Freediver Quests was December 31, 2025, which has passed. That deadline comes from a secondary listing, not an official Epic announcement: Fortnite Wiki’s Freediver entry.
Freediver is a digital Fortnite Outfit. Historical accounts describe a promotion involving O2 Priority, a code redeemed with Epic, and an in-game quest. An official archived O2 offer page was not available to confirm the original terms, so treat details such as eligibility and quest requirements as historical reporting, not an active offer. See the VideoGamer guide to the Freediver skin.
How to check for a legitimate way to get Freediver now
- Check Fortnite’s in-game Item Shop. The shop’s inventory can change. The official Fortnite Item Shop page directs players to the in-game shop for current availability; this does not confirm Freediver is listed.
- Look for announcements from Epic. Check Epic’s official support pages, Epic Games Store, and official Epic or Fortnite social channels for a new offer. Epic says genuine offers appear through official Epic websites, the store, or its official social channels. Read its guidance on avoiding Fortnite scams.
- Check any new promotion’s terms before acting. Confirm the eligible region, claim deadline, whether it is free or requires a purchase or subscription, any in-game tasks, and that the offer is published by Epic or a named promotion partner.
Can you still get Freediver through O2 Priority?
There is no verified current O2 Priority route for Freediver. Secondary reporting describes the historical offer as UK-linked and says players claimed a code through Priority, redeemed it with Epic, then completed the Freediver quest. Since the original official offer terms were not confirmed and the reported quest deadline has passed, do not assume that an old code or redemption walkthrough still works.

Are there other free ways to get the Freediver skin?
Epic’s general guidance mentions free cosmetics through challenges, free Battle Pass content, and some account-security offers. It does not say those routes unlock Freediver. A free-item opportunity in Fortnite is not evidence that this specific Outfit is included.
Avoid skin generators, unofficial code sellers, and account listings. Epic warns players about suspicious external offers; a site claiming it can generate or guarantee Freediver is not an official acquisition route.

- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.
