NBA 2K24 locker-code lists from August 2024 were time-sensitive snapshots, not a reliable list of codes that still work today. GameWatcher’s August 12 check reported one active code; Charlie Intel’s August 9 update listed four. Their lists differ, so the dates and publisher attributions matter.
NBA 2K24 codes reported in August 2024
The two publications checked on different days, three days apart. A code’s appearance on either list describes that publisher’s status report at its stated date—not a guarantee that it was redeemable throughout August or remains redeemable now.

GameWatcher’s expired list included MYTEAM-INVINCIBLE-PLAYER-PACK, MyTEAM-PLAYBOOK-THANK-YOU, TEAM-USA-2024-PLAYER, MYTEAM-NEXT-ROOKIE-PLAYER, and NBA-2K25-COVER-ATHLETES. The player-pack code appeared more than once on that page; it is shown here only once. GameWatcher’s August 12 snapshot
The discrepancy is a useful reminder: a code listed as active on August 9 could be expired or otherwise unavailable by August 12. Neither publication’s list establishes current availability in October 2026.

What 2K announced about the late-August code window
In its official NBA 2K24 MyTEAM Season Playbook, 2K said the NBA 2K25 Cover Athlete locker code had been extended through August 26, 2024. The playbook also directed players to the official @NBA2KMyTEAM account for a final limited-time code around Season 9’s August 9 start. - From the main menu, open MyTEAM or MyCAREER.
- In MyTEAM, select Community Hub. In MyCAREER, open Options/Quit while in the Neighborhood or City.
- Choose Locker Codes, then enter the code with its hyphens.
2K says codes can be unlimited, time-limited, or volume-limited, and each code can be redeemed once per console. Rewards may also include a random element, so a code description should not be read as a guarantee of a particular outcome unless the reward is explicitly specified. 2K Support’s locker-code guidance

- Check for commonly confused characters and make sure the hyphens are present.
- Consider whether the code may have expired or reached a volume limit.
- If the code appears to redeem but its content does not show up, restart the game.
- If the reward is a pack, check unopened packs.
