To unlock every achievement or trophy in Resident Evil Requiem, plan for at least one full story run, then use the in-game Challenge Menu and your platform’s achievement list to target cleanup and restriction challenges. The detailed community walkthrough cited here contains heavy story and ending spoilers. Its count of 49 applies specifically to Steam, not automatically to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, or Nintendo Switch 2.
Resident Evil Requiem launched on February 27, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC, according to Capcom’s game page. This guide combines the broad route with the categories and concrete unlock examples documented by community guides; check your own platform’s list for exact names and thresholds.

Plan the runs before you start
The cited Steam Community guide counts 49 achievements and groups them into story progression, difficulty and speed, collectibles, challenge runs, and optional combat or interaction tasks. That is the guide author’s organization, not a confirmed official Capcom taxonomy. Steam’s product page lists the game as single-player and supports Steam Achievements: Resident Evil Requiem on Steam.
PowerPyx’s 2026 collectible guide lists 139 collectible locations: 25 Mr. Raccoon Memoriam, 75 files, 5 safes, 3 BSAA containers, 9 Plant 43 seedlings, and 22 Antique Coins. Some achievement conditions are straightforward story milestones; others require deliberate combat, resource restrictions, speed, or menu purchases.
#1 Best Overall
- Amazon Exclusive - 2 sided poster included in every game!
- Grace Ashcroft, an FBI intelligence analyst who is introverted and easily scared, representing a new type of character for the Resident Evil series. Grace will experience horror from the same perspective as the player as she learns to overcome her fears throughout the course of the story.
- For the first time ever in Resident Evil history, players will be able to freely switch between both first- and third-person perspectives throughout the game.
- An Anniversary to Remember: With March 2026 marking the Resident Evil series’ 30-year anniversary, Resident Evil Requiem marks its own milestone in the franchise.
- Pre-orders for Resident Evil Requiem are now open, with the bonus of Grace’s costume: Apocalypse. Please note that the picture weapon does not come with the costume, but it can be obtained in-game.
First run: learn the game and collect carefully
The Steam guide recommends a Normal/Modern first run: it allows unlimited saves and gives you a chance to learn enemy placement before attempting stricter challenges. PowerPyx likewise recommends collecting items on the first playthrough to earn Challenge Points and reduce work on later runs.
- Make a manual save before leaving each major area. PowerPyx says there is no chapter select, so a missed opportunity can force a later replay.
- Read files rather than assuming that picking them up is enough. The Steam guide says its “Case Closed” condition requires reading all story documents.
- Check the Challenge Menu, including after your first clear; PowerPyx notes that some trackers only become visible after beating the game.
- Complete convenient combat and interaction tasks when they arise safely, such as parrying, using a supply box, or upgrading a weapon.
- Watch for one-time area opportunities. The Steam guide, for example, flags a Mr. Raccoon figure tied to a particular access condition.
Later runs: separate the restrictions
After the first clear, check the platform achievement list and Challenge Menu, then group remaining tasks by the kind of run they require. The community guide documents separate dimensions: difficulty or rank, no-healing, minimalism, speed completion, character-specific resource restrictions, and high-count combat or resource objectives. The sources do not establish one universal run order or exact thresholds for every platform, so follow the wording shown in your own game.
Do not combine no-heal, speedrun, and minimalism attempts with a first learning run unless you already know the route and requirements. Keep your area saves for cleanup, particularly because there is no chapter select.
What kinds of achievements are there?
The Steam guide’s category counts add up to its 49-entry total. These numbers describe that Steam guide and should not be treated as a cross-platform trophy count.

Rank #2
- JUEGO SONY PS5 RESIDENT EVIL VILLAGE GOLD EDITION
| Guide category | Steam guide count | Examples of conditions |

| Collectibles | 13 | Read files, destroy Mr. Raccoon figures, open safes and BSAA containers, and defeat Plant 43 seedlings. |
| Challenge runs | 8 | Finish with restrictions such as no herbs or injectors, or a character-specific resource limit. |
| Optional and combat | 12 | Parry, trigger enemy-on-enemy damage, craft, buy from a supply box, upgrade a weapon, or meet special boss conditions. |
Story milestones
These usually unlock as you reach specified areas, defeat bosses, or complete the main story. Because the detailed guide includes ending and story spoilers, consult it only if you are comfortable seeing those details.
Combat and interaction tasks
Not every achievement is awarded for finishing a chapter. Examples in the Steam guide include parrying an attack, throwing an enemy-dropped weapon so it hits another foe, making one zombie strike another, interrupting a boss attack, and using a particular weapon or finisher. These are conditional actions: if an opportunity passes, note it for a later run rather than assuming ordinary combat progress will count.
Crafting, equipment, and bonus-menu tasks
Other examples include unlocking a recipe through analysis, crafting with a blood collector, buying from a supply box, and upgrading a weapon. The Steam guide also describes achievements for viewing models and sketches purchased with Challenge Points in the Bonus Menu. Verify exact requirements in the current in-game menu, since the cited guide’s exact labels and conditions may not match every platform list.

PowerPyx’s 2026 guide reports these totals and says Antique Coins are used for upgrades:
Rank #3
- Intense horror experience with dark narrative
- Improved images and refined game mechanics included
- Players take on the role of Leon S Kennedy
- Mission to save the president's daughter from danger
- Challenging environments and strategic combat scenarios await
- 25 Mr. Raccoon Memoriam
- 75 files
- 5 safes
- 3 BSAA containers
- 9 Plant 43 seedlings
- 22 Antique Coins
PowerPyx says files and Mr. Raccoons count across playthroughs. Its guide also covers key items, upgrades, weapons, weapon parts, and missable trophies; models and concept art are bought through the Bonus Menu rather than found as world collectibles.
There is no chapter select, so preserve manual saves from areas if you want a way back to a missed section. PowerPyx says maps marking Mr. Raccoons can be purchased from the Bonus Menu after the first playthrough. Its collectible guide is based on Casual/Standard; some placements, particularly Antique Coins, differ on Insanity, so use a difficulty-matched location checklist.
Where to check exact unlock conditions
The Steam Community guide by SuperBrat12 organizes granular conditions and tactical notes by chapter, but it is community-authored and its page displays a notice that it was removed for a Community Guidelines violation. Treat its 49 count and fine-grained instructions as attributed guide information, not Capcom-confirmed requirements. The guide can be found at the Steam Community guide; because its page is reported as removed, verify conditions against your in-game Challenge Menu and platform list.
For collectible locations, PowerPyx provides the area checklist and missable guidance at Resident Evil Requiem Collectibles Guide. Its stated difficulty basis and placement caveat matter when following location-by-location instructions.
