The Secret Shop is a hidden area connected to the Service Station in R.E.P.O. Its entrance is not guaranteed to be in the same place every run: the familiar ceiling-panel route comes from guides written before the v0.4.0 Cosmetics Update, which introduced new shop environments. Start by checking the shop’s layout, then use the ceiling instructions below only if you find that version of the entrance.
Where is the Secret Shop in R.E.P.O.?
Reach the Service Station after completing a level, then inspect the shop for a hidden entrance. The well-known older layout has a movable panel in the ceiling near the health purchases at the end of an aisle. Since the developer’s May 7, 2026 v0.4.0 Cosmetics Update announcement describes new shop environments and a new look, that ceiling route should be treated as one possible layout—not a guaranteed location in every current run.
A GAMES.GG guide updated May 8, 2026 reports several other possible locations: a bathroom crawlspace, a manager’s office that requires a keycard, a fake floor leading to a basement, a cracked wall, and the garage. These are secondary reports, not an official or exhaustive developer spawn list. Check the particular shop you are in rather than assuming every listed location will appear.
How to enter through the ceiling panel
Use these directions only if your shop has the older ceiling-panel entrance. Insider Gaming’s March 14, 2025 guide describes the panel near the health purchases:
#1 Best Overall
- Vaporwave Aesthetic design. Vaporwave retro aesthetic design for 80s lovers of retro futurism.
- Great for listeners of synthwave, electronic, or EDM dance music.
- Lightweight, Classic fit, Double-needle sleeve and bottom hem
- Complete a level to reach the Service Shop.
- Find the health purchases at the end of an aisle and face them.
- Turn around and look up for a movable ceiling tile.
- Shift the panel by throwing an item or using a power, as described in the guide.
- Get high enough to reach the opening. The guide lists a jump upgrade, a nearby item, or help from a teammate as ways to climb up.
The Escapist’s March 17, 2025 guide also mentions a double-jump upgrade, a Feather Drone, shooting the tile, or having a teammate help. These are reported options for the older ceiling layout; the guides do not establish that each method works reliably, or that they apply to other shop variants.
What if there is no ceiling panel?
Look over the rest of the shop for a crawlspace, office, floor opening, cracked wall, or garage entrance. Those possibilities come from GAMES.GG’s May 2026 reporting; the developer confirms that the shop received new environments but does not publish a list of Secret Shop locations. If none of the reported entrances is present, the available sources do not establish another reliable way to find the room in that run.

What can you find inside?
The Secret Shop’s inventory may change between runs. The Escapist reports that it can include items not normally found in the regular shop, including Human Grenades and Duct Tape Grenades. Those examples are not guaranteed, and current prices or discounts are not established. The developer’s update announcement mentions over 500 cosmetic parts, but that figure describes cosmetics generally, not Secret Shop inventory.
