Pyro is one of the elemental affiliations in Genshin Impact. The playable roster changes as new characters arrive, and available roster pages do not consistently reflect the latest additions. As of October 8, 2026, HoYoverse has officially identified Nicole as Pyro, but the sources available here do not establish a complete current roster. Check the live in-game character archive for the definitive list. The entries below are the characters whose descriptions or Pyro status are directly supported by the cited official material.
Officially documented Pyro characters
This is a verified selection, not a claim that only these characters are playable. The available official references establish the following details; they do not support a complete, character-by-character roster for October 2026.
Inazuma
- Yoimiya: HoYoverse describes her as a “talented pyrotechnician,” owner of Naganohara Fireworks, and the “Queen of the Summer Festival.” Her dedication to fireworks and the joy they bring distinguishes her public role. HoYoverse character profile.
Liyue
- Xinyan: HoYoverse calls her “Liyue’s sole rock ‘n’ roll musician.” The Version 1.1 notice identifies her Vision as Pyro and her weapon as a claymore. Its description emphasizes the combination of music and fire in her abilities: her Elemental Skill deals Pyro damage and creates a shield, while her Elemental Burst deals physical damage followed by continuous Pyro damage. - Nicole: HoYoverse’s May 11, 2026 event-wish notice identifies “Clamor Within” Nicole as Pyro. That notice does not provide a full biography, so her occupation, story role, weapon, and rarity are not stated here. HoYoverse event-wish notice.
Why this is not a complete roster
Pyro character lists can become outdated when new characters are introduced. The third-party roster results available for this article conflict: one includes established names such as Amber, Arlecchino, Chevreuse, Diluc, Hu Tao, Klee, Lyney, Mavuika, Xiangling, Yanfei, and Yoimiya; another surfaces newer entries, including Durin and the Pyro Traveler. Neither result is a dependable final authority, and the May 2026 official notice confirms that Nicole is another newer Pyro character.
Because the cited material does not verify every character’s current playable status or element, it would be misleading to present those names as an exhaustive, confirmed October 2026 list. For a full live roster, open the in-game character archive and check each character’s displayed element. Official character profiles and notices are the better source for story descriptions and release details.

How to compare Pyro characters
A roster overview can help identify characters by region, story identity, weapon, and rarity. Those details are distinct from how a character performs in combat. No current, version-specific comparison here establishes which Pyro character is strongest, easiest to use, or best for a particular team. A “best Pyro” answer needs a stated game version and current gameplay evidence rather than a biography list.
