The full breakdown below gives the exact changes introduced in Version 20250808, including mixed adjustments that are not simply buffs or nerfs. These are historical patch values—not a guide to the live balance state or current meta.
Season 3.5 began August 8, 2025, at 09:00 UTC. NetEase published the balance post on July 31, 2025; the official update notes identify Blade as the update’s new hero.
Vanguard changes
Doctor Strange: more charges and a shorter escape cooldown
Daggers of Denak gained two projectile charges, rising from 8 to 10. Cloak of Levitation’s cooldown dropped from 15 seconds to 12 seconds, giving Strange more frequent access to the ability.
Groot: increased reach and a new Team-Up ability
Vine Strike’s range increased from 20 m to 22 m, while Flora Colossus’s effect radius grew from 20 m to 24 m. Groot also gained Wild Wall through the new Vibrant Vitality Team-Up with Mantis.

Magneto: lower shield values
Metal Bulwark and Iron Bulwark shield values each fell from 300 to 250.
Thor: more Thorforce and grounding control
Thor now gains 1 Thorforce when he exits the awakened state of Awakening Rune. Enemies who leave Lightning Realm are Grounded for 2 seconds, restricting their aerial abilities.
Duelist changes
Black Panther: longer Spirit Rend cooldown
Spirit Rend’s cooldown increased from 8 seconds to 10 seconds.

- Yat Jee Chung Kuen’s percentage damage per strike against an enemy’s maximum health increased from 2.1% to 2.7%.
- Harmony Recovery Bonus Health now begins decaying after 2 seconds instead of 1 second.
- K’un-Lun Kick’s first strike damage increased from 30 to 35.
Iron Fist also receives Lunar Chi through his Team-Up with Luna Snow. His Team-Up Anchor was removed.
Star-Lord: temporary Bonus Health and Team-Up trade-off
Stellar Shift now grants up to 25 Bonus Health for 3 seconds; that bonus then decays to zero over 1 second. Star-Lord gained Astral Jump through the Rocket Network Team-Up, but lost Leader’s Soul, which had come from Guardian Revival with Adam Warlock.

Wolverine: more ultimate energy required
Last Stand’s ultimate energy cost rose from 2,800 to 3,400. Lifesteal from the Primal Flame — Phoenix Warrior Team-Up no longer contributes to Wolverine’s ultimate energy.
Spider-Man: stronger ultimate damage and a shorter Team-Up backflip
Spectacular Spin damage increased from 150 per second to 170 per second. With the Ever-Burning Bond Team-Up with Human Torch, the backflip distance after activation was reduced from 12 m to 7 m. The official post said the shorter distance was intended to support more reliable follow-ups.

Adam Warlock: cheaper ultimate and improved revival support
Karmic Revival’s ultimate energy cost fell from 5,000 to 4,700. Revived allies now receive Bonus Health equal to 70% of their maximum health. It lasts 5 seconds, then decays to zero over 2 seconds. Each Cosmic Cluster hit also reduces Avatar Life Stream’s charge time by 0.3 seconds.

Cloak & Dagger: more ultimate energy required
Eternal Bond’s ultimate energy cost increased from 4,000 to 4,300.
Mantis: stronger Anchor effect, weaker healing and fewer charges
Mantis’s new Team-Up Anchor effect grants 10% increased healing. In the same patch, Healing Flower’s healing over time fell from 12.5 per second to 10 per second, and Life Energy Blast’s projectile charges dropped from 20 to 15. Soul Resurgence’s conversion of excess healing into Bonus Health improved, with its conversion rate rising from 0.7 to 1. Mantis also lost Nature’s Soul from Guardian Revival with Adam Warlock.
Luna Snow: new Team-Up connection
Duality Dance with Adam Warlock grants Luna Snow Light & Shadow Karma. Her Team-Up changes also connect to Iron Fist’s Lunar Chi.

Loki: gained one Team-Up ability and lost another
Loki gained Deific Blessing through Vibrant Vitality with Mantis and lost Laufeyson Reborn from Ragnarok Rebirth with Hela.

The patch contains different kinds of adjustments: direct stat changes, new or removed Team-Up abilities, and Team-Up Anchor changes. Some heroes received a mixture. Iron Fist gained damage and a new Team-Up while also having a recovery-timing change; Star-Lord gained a Team-Up ability but lost another; Mantis’s Anchor effect improved even as two other healing-related values were reduced.
The figures above describe mechanics changed by the patch. They do not establish how those changes affected win rates, pick rates, or competitive rankings. The official balance post reports the adjustments, not performance outcomes.
