Br’aaxskin treasure coffers can appear in five Dawntrail zones: Urqopacha, Kozama’uka, Yak T’el, Shaaloani, and Heritage Found. Each zone has eight possible locations. Use the zone and map fragment revealed by Decipher to identify which coordinate to check; the list below is a location reference, not an official Square Enix coordinate list.
All Br’aaxskin treasure coffer locations
Coordinates use the game’s zone format: X first, then Y. The deciphered map clue shows a small section of the relevant zone; match its terrain and landmarks to the candidates listed for that zone. There are eight candidates in each zone, compiled by Destructoid.

The coordinate candidates are from Destructoid’s Br’aaxskin map location guide. The list identifies possible spawns; it does not mean every coordinate contains a coffer for your map.
How to use a Br’aaxskin map
- Obtain a Timeworn Br’aaxskin Map from a level 100 Dawntrail gathering or fishing activity.
- Use Decipher to reveal the map fragment and identify its zone.
- Compare the fragment’s terrain and landmarks with the listed locations for that zone.
- Travel to the matching spot and find and open the treasure coffer.
The official Eorzea Database entry for Timeworn Br’aaxskin Map identifies it as a unique Miscellany item and displays Patch 7.56. It is not available for purchase from an NPC. That item page’s player comment about fishing in Heritage Found is user-submitted, not official acquisition guidance.

Ways to obtain the map
The FFXIV Online Wiki’s map reference lists level 100 Dawntrail gathering nodes and fishing holes as sources, including mining, botany, fishing with Snagging, and spearfishing with Salvage. It gives examples in Shaaloani, Yak T’el, and Heritage Found. The available information does not establish which method is fastest or most profitable.
What the treasure coffer unlocks
Finding and opening a coffer obtained from a Br’aaxskin map can grant access to Cenote Ja Ja Gural, the treasure dungeon added in Patch 7.05. Holding a map alone does not provide entry. Inside, the party chooses doors to progress through chambers; a wrong choice can send players back to the surface. Square Enix describes the coffer-based access in its Patch 7.05 notes.

Do not confuse Cenote Ja Ja Gural with Vault Oneiron. In Patch 7.3, Square Enix added Gargantuaskin Treasure Maps for Living Memory and specified that only Gargantuaskin maps grant entry to Vault Oneiron. Their coffer rewards are the same as Br’aaxskin coffer rewards, while Br’aaxskin map rewards were also adjusted in that patch. Older loot lists should therefore not be treated as guaranteed current rewards. See the Patch 7.3 notes.
