Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3, titled GALACTIC BATTLE, launched on May 2, 2025. Meristation reported a start time of 7:30 a.m. CEST (5:30 a.m. UTC), but Epic Games confirmed the date without publishing an exact hour. The season is over, so this is a historical launch time—not an upcoming schedule.
When did Fortnite’s Star Wars season start?
Epic Games announced Fortnite: GALACTIC BATTLE for May 2, 2025, a date also given by StarWars.com. Meristation reported that the season was scheduled to start at 7:30 a.m. CEST on May 2, which is 5:30 a.m. UTC. Epic’s announcement confirms May 2 but does not specify that clock time, so the hour should be treated as regional reporting rather than an exact time published by Epic.

Why could players not get in at the reported start time?
A scheduled season start did not guarantee that the game would be immediately playable. Players needed to download update v35.00 and wait for server maintenance to finish. The actual time a player could enter therefore depended on the update and maintenance process, not only the reported launch hour.
