Work out where loading fails
The right next step depends on your platform and the failure stage. Note whether Fortnite will not launch, stays on a loading screen, crashes, or displays a specific error or code. If you contact support, include your platform, the exact error text or code, and where loading stops.

When file verification is the right fix
If the message says “Corrupted data was found in game files,” Epic’s support instructions specifically recommend verification. In this error scenario, Epic says verification repairs files that differ and does not affect saved data.
