What is Ghostflame Dragon weak to?
Neoseeker guide excerpts report that the dragon is weak to Holy damage. This is a useful damage type to try, not a confirmed multiplier or a requirement for winning. You can use your normal weapon and strategy if Holy damage does not suit your build.

How to fight Ghostflame Dragon
Game8 recommends fighting on foot and keeping Torrent available for retreat, while Neoseeker’s guidance says to roll through ghostflame attacks on foot or avoid them by jumping or sprinting laterally while mounted. These are guide-reported recommendations; exact dodge timings and guaranteed punish windows are not established.
Use Torrent for distance, not every attack
Mounted movement can help you reposition or create space when the dragon’s broad attacks make staying close unsafe. Dismount when you see an opening and attack on foot rather than trying to remain mounted throughout the fight.
React to close-range and ghostflame attacks
Stay alert when the dragon is close and when it begins an area attack. Watch for the wind-up, get clear of the impact and any outward-spreading flame, and wait for the effect to pass before attacking. On foot, rolling through ghostflame is one reported option; on Torrent, jumping over it or sprinting sideways away from it are alternatives. Do not commit to a punish until you have room to do so safely.

If the encounter is overwhelming, collect more DLC-region upgrades before returning. FromSoftware says Scadutree Blessing raises your attack power and damage negation in the DLC area. Revered Spirit Ash Blessing improves summoned spirits and Torrent there. These effects apply in the Shadow Realm, rather than functioning as general buffs everywhere in the game. These blessings persist while you are in DLC areas; they are not temporary combat buffs. Scadutree Fragments strengthen your character, while Revered Spirit Ashes strengthen summons and Torrent. Collecting them can improve both your ability to deal with the dragon and your ability to withstand its attacks.
