The Official Pokémon YouTube channel announced the expansion for April 29, 2025, at 11:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time (PDT). PDT is UTC−7, making the equivalent time April 30 at 06:00 UTC. The Pacific and UTC dates differ because the UTC clock had passed midnight, not because the expansion had two separate scheduled launches.
Pokémon’s April 24, 2025 trailer announcement described Celestial Guardians as the latest expansion for Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket and gave the scheduled release time.
Did it become available everywhere at exactly that time?
The announcement establishes the scheduled launch time, but it does not establish that every player or region gained access at precisely that minute. Treat 11:00 p.m. PDT as the announced schedule, not a guarantee of simultaneous minute-by-minute availability worldwide.

What did the expansion feature?
The announcement highlighted Rowlet, Litten, Popplio, Solgaleo, Lunala, and Trainers from Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. A Pokémon strategy article published May 1, 2025, discusses Solgaleo ex as a Celestial Guardians card, confirming the expansion’s cards were part of the game after its scheduled launch.
