Its tank-focused rewards include three weapons, two throwables, armor with a damage-reduction passive, boosters, cosmetics and vehicle patterns. Arrowhead’s broader shift toward more deliberate Warbond design dates to a June 2024 announcement; that statement described an intended approach, not a confirmed current release schedule.
What’s in the latest Helldivers 2 Warbond?
PlayStation announced Ironclad Democracy for September 22, 2026, and lists it as the latest Premium Warbond. The official announcement describes the collection as tank-focused and includes the following rewards:

- Weapons: AR-11 Arbitrator assault rifle, GL-15 Evictor pump-action grenade launcher and P-34 Breacher missile pistol.
- Throwables: G-60 Anti-Tank Seeker and G-8 Immolation.
- Armor: BFM-16 Tanker light armor and BFM-220 Ironclad heavy armor. Both feature the Blunt-Force Mitigation passive, which provides a higher armor rating, increases resistance to being knocked off your feet and reduces impact and collision damage by 30%.
- Boosters: Integrated Extinguishers and Surplus EAT Allocation. Arrowhead says Surplus EAT Allocation grants two free uses of the Expendable Anti-Tank Stratagem per mission.
- Other rewards: Standard of Rapid Evacuation and Shroud of The Juggernaut capes, a Helmet Durability Check emote, two player cards, the Treadhead title, and three tank-exclusive patterns: Verdant camouflage, Glacial polymer and Executive onyx.
The 30% reduction and two free EAT uses are effects announced by Arrowhead, not independently measured performance results. PlayStation’s Ironclad Democracy announcement has the full reward details.
Is Ironclad Democracy still upcoming?
No. The September 22, 2026 launch date has passed. As of October 8, 2026, PlayStation’s current Warbond listings identify Ironclad Democracy as the newest Premium Warbond; they do not establish a later Premium Warbond announcement. That makes “next Warbond” stale wording for this article’s date, rather than evidence that another release is imminent.

What changed in Arrowhead’s Warbond approach?
In its June 6, 2024 announcement for Viper Commandos, Arrowhead said it would slow Warbond releases to give the team more time to polish designs. It also said it would change how items were arranged within each Warbond to make room for new item types and higher-quality armor and weapons, while avoiding additions that made weapons feel redundant or armor uninteresting. Katherine Baskin, Arrowhead’s Social Media and Community Manager, summed up the announced principle: “It’s time to focus on quality over quantity.”
The announcement tied that direction to player feedback calling for more cohesive themes, more emotes, unique armor passives and more thoughtful designs. Viper Commandos illustrated the intent with a jungle theme, a throwing knife utility item and an Experimental Infusion booster. This was a statement of direction in 2024; it does not prove that every later Warbond used those elements or that the release cadence remains slower today. How Warbonds work
PlayStation describes Warbonds as in-game catalogues of featured items, which can include weapons, armor, capes, emotes, stratagems and utilities. Its page says Warbonds are not time-limited: after purchasing one, players can unlock its rewards when they choose. Access requires the base game, Super Credits and game progression. The listed Ironclad Democracy price is 1,000 Super Credits; Castellan’s Creed is listed at 1,500.
