TM 013 Ice Beam is in the battle court in Aymlis Park, Wild Zone 12. Use Rock Smash to break the boulders blocking the TM Item Ball. The court is also described as the Machoke battling yard.
Where to find TM 013 Ice Beam
- Go to Wild Zone 12 and locate the battle court in Aymlis Park. PokéJungle describes it as the park’s sports court; GameSpot uses the nearby Machoke battling yard as a landmark.
- Search the court area, including across the Machoke battling yard, for the TM Item Ball.
- Use Rock Smash on the boulders blocking the item, then collect TM 013.
Altissimo’s TM list also places Ice Beam in the Wild Zone 12 battle court and lists Rock Smash as the requirement. The guides agree on the area and access action; their descriptions do not establish a more precise position for the Item Ball.

What Ice Beam does
PokéJungle lists Ice Beam as an Ice-type Special move with 90 power and an 8 cooldown. Its page reproduces the in-game description: “The user attacks by shooting out a beam of icy-cold energy. This may also leave targets frozen.”
Do you need the TM for Main Mission 19?
PowerPyx says Ice Beam is needed for Main Mission 19: Reaching Rank D, and notes that an Ice-type Pokémon that already knows Ice Beam can provide an alternate route. This is a secondary guide’s mission advice, rather than a claim confirmed by an official mission source.
