The three Ruins Maps in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree lead to Finger Ruins of Rhia, Finger Ruins of Dheo, and Finger Ruins of Miyr—in that order. They are part of Count Ymir’s quest, not the DLC’s regional map fragments. Ring the bell at each of the first two destinations and return to Ymir to receive the next map; the third area lies beneath the cathedral.
All three Ruins Map locations at a glance
| Quest order | Destination | Where to look | Progression trigger |
|---|---|---|---|
| First Ruins Map | Finger Ruins of Rhia | Southern Realm of Shadow | Ring the hanging bell, then return to Count Ymir |
| Second Ruins Map | Finger Ruins of Dheo | Northeastern Realm of Shadow | Ring the bell, then return to Count Ymir |
| Third Ruins Map | Finger Ruins of Miyr | Below the Cathedral of Manus Metyr | Examine Ymir’s throne after he leaves it |
Where is the first Ruins Map location?
The first map points to the Finger Ruins of Rhia, in the southern part of the Realm of Shadow. Count Ymir gives you this map at the Cathedral of Manus Metyr. Follow it to Rhia and ring the hanging bell there; then return to Ymir to advance the quest. IGN’s Count Ymir quest guide identifies Rhia as the first destination.
Where is the second Ruins Map location?
The second map leads to the Finger Ruins of Dheo, in the northeast of the Realm of Shadow. You receive it from Ymir after completing the Rhia bell sequence and speaking with him again. The destination is Dheo; the route to reach it runs through the Shadow Keep Back Gate and onward into the Hinterlands. Ring the bell in the ruins and return to Ymir for the third map. See IGN’s quest walkthrough and the Finger Ruins of Dheo guide for the location and access route.
Where is the third Ruins Map location?
The third map leads to the Finger Ruins of Miyr, directly beneath the Cathedral of Manus Metyr. Ymir gives you this map after you ring the Dheo bell and speak with him again. When the quest advances and Ymir leaves his throne, examine the throne to open the way below the cathedral. The area beneath it is Miyr. IGN’s Count Ymir walkthrough covers the third map and throne access.

Ruins Maps versus DLC map fragments
These three Ruins Maps are quest items for Count Ymir. They are not the five regional map fragments that reveal the Shadow of the Erdtree world map. If you are following the first-, second-, and third-map clues, use the Rhia, Dheo, and Miyr destinations above.
