It brought an 80-player Battle Royale map inspired by Springfield, Simpsons-themed cosmetics and gameplay, and a series of animated shorts. The event’s account-linking glider and Twitch Drop offers have also expired.
Is the Fortnite Simpsons event still on?
No. Epic launched the Springfield crossover on November 1, 2025, and Disney’s retrospective confirms that the season is over. It is a past Fortnite season, not a currently playable event.
The Kang and Kodos Glider was offered for linking Epic and MyDisney accounts, but Epic’s updated deadline was April 29, 2026, Eastern Time. The deadline has passed. The event’s Twitch Drop is also over: it required watching 30 cumulative minutes of a Fortnite-category stream during the November 1–2, 2025 window to unlock the “The Siiimpsooooons… Wrap” cosmetic.
What was in the Springfield event?
An 80-player Battle Royale map
Epic described Springfield Island as an 80-player, fast-paced, back-to-basics Battle Royale experience. The map brought familiar Simpsons locations into Fortnite, including Evergreen Terrace, Springfield Town Square, Burns Manor, the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, Springfield Gorge, and Kamp Krusty. It also included episode references and easter eggs; one hidden gag was revealed by shooting the head of the Jebediah Springfield statue. These were in-game locations, not real-world destinations.
