To unlock the Endwalker Manderville relic weapon, finish the Endwalker main scenario and the Hildibrand Adventures quests through The Imperfect Gentleman. Then follow Gerolt’s weapon quests in Radz-at-Han through four stages: Manderville, Amazing Manderville, Majestic Manderville, and Mandervillous. Earlier steps are commonly reported to cost 1,500 tomestones apiece, but the accepted currency has changed over time, so check the live exchange before buying materials.
What you need to unlock the Manderville weapon
- Complete the Endwalker main scenario quest, Endwalker.
- Complete the Hildibrand Adventures chain through The Imperfect Gentleman. If you have not started it, the chain begins with The Rise and Fall of Gentlemen.
- Have a level-90 Disciple of War or Magic for the weapon quests.
The relic series is tied to the Hildibrand side story, not a separate crafting or gathering progression. After meeting the story requirements, speak with Gerolt in Radz-at-Han to begin the weapon quests.
Manderville relic quest and upgrade steps
1. Manderville
Start Make It a Manderville with Gerolt in Radz-at-Han. The first weapon is made using three Manderium Meteorites. Pro Game Guides reports these at 500 tomestones each, or 1,500 for the step; that guide’s currency information is historical, so confirm what Jubrunnah currently accepts before purchasing. The stage is reported at item level 615. Pro Game Guides’ Manderville weapon guide
2. Amazing Manderville
Continue the quest progression with Generational Bonding and Well-oiled. The official Patch 6.35 notes specify that Well-oiled is available from Gerolt in Radz-at-Han to a level-90 Disciple of War or Magic after Make It a Manderville and Generational Bonding. The subsequent upgrade uses three Complementary Chondrites; a secondary guide reports 500 tomestones per item and item level 630. Check the current vendor listing for the currency and cost.

3. Majestic Manderville
Advance the Hildibrand story to Not from Around Here, then accept A Spirited Reforging from Gerolt. Square Enix’s Patch 6.45 notes list the level-90 quest in Radz-at-Han and require Well-oiled and Not from Around Here. The weapon follow-up also requires A Spirited Reforging and The Next Mander-level. The upgrade is commonly listed as three Amplifying Achondrites at 500 tomestones each, with the stage at item level 645; these costs and the currency should be verified at the exchange.
4. Mandervillous
Continue the Hildibrand chain through Gentlemen at Heart, then take Resonating with Perfection from Gerolt in Radz-at-Han. The official Patch 6.55 notes list Gentlemen at Heart and A Spirited Reforging as prerequisites. The follow-up weapon quest requires Resonating with Perfection and In Need of Adjustment. Patch 6.55 item listings put the completed Mandervillous weapons at item level 665. The exact final-step material names and a complete current exchange cost are not established here; use the quest text and Jubrunnah’s current inventory rather than relying on a guessed or outdated item list.
Tomestone costs and currency changes
For the first three stages, the commonly reported pattern is three items at 500 tomestones apiece: 1,500 tomestones for one weapon step. If the same pattern applies to all four steps, one weapon would total 6,000 tomestones, but the final-step cost is not confirmed by the official item listing cited above. Pro Game Guides’ Patch 6.45-era information supports the earlier per-item costs, not a guaranteed current vendor price.
The currency name has changed during Endwalker. Early steps used Allagan Tomestones of Astronomy; Patch 6.4 changed rewards from Astronomy to Causality, and later guides describe Poetics for level-90 relic progression. These changes can make older walkthroughs misleading. Before buying any materials, inspect Jubrunnah’s exchange inventory in Radz-at-Han and use the currency and quantities shown in your current game client.
Choosing which job’s weapon to upgrade
Before spending tomestones, check three things: whether the job is level 90, how far your Hildibrand questline has progressed, and whether your goal is an item-level upgrade or a particular appearance for glamour. The final item level of 665 is confirmed for the Mandervillous weapons in Patch 6.55, but that figure alone does not establish that they outperform newer expansion equipment or are current best-in-slot.
