The 2024–25 Saudi Pro League TOTS prediction can now be checked against the squad released for EA SPORTS FC 25: the event has passed. Before release, Karim Benzema, Salem Al Dawsari and Cristiano Ronaldo had compelling attacking cases, while Roger Ibañez and Cristian Guanca offered strong non-forward arguments. A secondary database lists the Saudi TOTS window as May 30–June 6, 2025, and records the eventual squad; EA’s TOTS page could not be independently verified when accessed.
How to read this FC 25 Saudi TOTS prediction
This is a retrospective look at the 2024–25 Roshn Saudi League season and its corresponding EA SPORTS FC 25 Ultimate Team content, not a forecast for an upcoming release. A sound prediction weighs league output and positional balance, while treating player availability and FC 25 launch ratings as context rather than proof of EA’s selection rules.

The Saudi Pro League’s 2025 Player of the Season article says nominees needed to appear in at least 40% of their team’s league matches. That threshold applied to the league award; it is not established as an EA TOTS requirement. The league’s performance figures below support candidates on sporting merit, but they do not establish EA’s selection formula.
Strong candidates on 2024–25 performance
Karim Benzema: the most complete attacking case
The Saudi Pro League reported that Benzema recorded 21 goals and nine assists in 28 appearances, or 30 goal contributions. The league described that as more contributions than any other player in the competition. That combination made him one of the clearest candidates for a prominent attacking TOTS item.

Salem Al Dawsari: standout Saudi output
Al Dawsari scored 15 goals, the highest total by a Saudi player in the division, and finished with 29 goal contributions according to the league. His production made a strong case both for individual recognition and for representation of a leading Saudi performer.
Cristiano Ronaldo: elite scoring, with a timing caveat
In an article published before the final matchweek, the Saudi Pro League listed Ronaldo as the league’s leading scorer at that point, with 24 goals and three assists. That is a pre-final-matchweek snapshot, not a confirmed final-season tally, so it should not be presented as his completed campaign total.

Roger Ibañez: a defender’s case beyond goals
Ibañez’s case rests on defensive work as well as scoring. The league recorded five goals, 61 interceptions, 176 recoveries, 183 duels won and 68 aerial duels won. Those figures make him a credible defensive inclusion in a positionally balanced prediction rather than a list built around attackers alone.
Cristian Guanca: midfield and attacking production
Guanca delivered 11 goals and 11 assists for Al Shabab, and the league named him Player of the Month in both February and March. His combined scoring and creation made him a strong midfield or attacking-midfield candidate.

What FC 25 launch ratings tell you—and what they do not
EA’s September 11, 2024 ratings announcement provides a starting-game baseline, not a guide to eventual TOTS ratings or evidence of EA’s selection criteria.
| Player | FC 25 launch rating |
|---|---|
| Neymar | 87 |
| Cristiano Ronaldo | 86 |
| Karim Benzema | 86 |
| João Cancelo | 86 |
| N’Golo Kanté | 85 |
| Sergej Milinković-Savić | 85 |
| Riyad Mahrez | 85 |
| Salem Al Dawsari | 80 |
These ratings were announced for FC 25’s launch. EA said the game would release on September 27, 2024, with Ultimate Edition early access from September 20, and listed PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. The launch ratings should not be confused with upgraded TOTS card ratings.

What the released FC 25 Saudi Pro League TOTS included
FIFAUTeam’s secondary database identifies the FC 25 Saudi PL TOTS as covering the 2024–25 season and lists its release window as May 30–June 6, 2025. Its main squad was:
- Koen Casteels
- João Cancelo
- Roger Ibañez
- Mohamed Simakan
- Nawaf Boushal
- N’Golo Kanté
- Sergej Milinković-Savić
- Moussa Diaby
- Salem Al Dawsari
- Daniel Podence
- Cristiano Ronaldo
- Karim Benzema
The database also lists highlighter items for Marcos Leonardo and Abdullah Al Salem. Its SBC and objective entries are Musab Al Juwair, Riyad Mahrez, Steven Bergwijn, Ivan Toney, Abderrazak Hamdallah and Jhon Durán. These are database-reported inclusions; the official EA TOTS page was discoverable but returned 404 when opened, so the roster and dates could not be checked against that page.

How the prediction compared with the released squad
The five performance-led candidates discussed above all appeared in the database’s main squad: Benzema, Al Dawsari, Ronaldo, Ibañez and Guanca was the exception. Guanca’s 11 goals, 11 assists and two consecutive monthly awards gave him an evidence-backed case, but the roster did not include him. The released list also shows why a complete prediction needed room for defenders and midfielders: Cancelo, Ibañez, Simakan, Boushal, Kanté and Milinković-Savić joined the attacking names.
For players weighing sporting merit against likely Ultimate Team selection, keep the questions separate. League statistics can support a TOTS argument; they cannot establish EA’s exact selection rationale. Likewise, launch ratings describe the game’s original baseline, not the strength of later event cards.
