Why did FIFA 11 receive strong reviews?
At launch in 2010, Electronic Arts described the game as reinventing player authenticity “on and off the ball” with Personality+. That is EA’s product-description language, not an independent review finding. EA also said FIFA 11 had earned 58 review scores of 90 or better around the world. This publisher-reported figure is not the same measure as Metacritic’s current listing of 66 critic reviews: the counts come from different sources and may reflect different coverage.
