The answer to Wordle #1326, played on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, was TOOTH. Independent dated reporting and a maintained puzzle archive agree on both the answer and the date. If you want to solve it yourself, the hints below run from the least revealing to the most direct, so you can stop as soon as you have enough.

Wordle #1326 hints, from least to most revealing

Work through these in order. Each step gives you more than the last, so the first one may be all you need.

Hint 1: the structure

The answer has five letters, starts with a consonant, and contains two vowels. Parade’s February 4, 2025 article gives this structural clue.

Hint 2: the repeated letters

At least one letter repeats. PC Gamer’s February 4, 2025 answer-and-hint article describes the puzzle as having two double letters, which means the word contains two different letters that each appear twice.

Hint 3: the first letter

The word begins with T. An archive entry for the puzzle, indexed by search engines and reflecting the same clue pattern, reports the same starting letter and repeat structure.

Hint 4: the meaning

The answer is a noun for a white, bone-like object in the mouth, used for biting or chewing. This is the semantic clue Parade published on the same date.

Hint 5: the oblique clue

PC Gamer’s more indirect clue describes hard-wearing, often pointed things found in jaws, saws and cogs. Each of those is a place where that object appears, so it points to the same word.

The answer and how it breaks down

TOOTH is spelled T-O-O-T-H. Its five letters are arranged as follows:

  • Position 1: T
  • Position 2: O (vowel)
  • Position 3: O (vowel)
  • Position 4: T (repeat of position 1)
  • Position 5: H

That gives two vowels, both O, and two repeated letters, T and O. This breakdown follows directly from the published answer; the reporting above describes the clues, not this letter-by-letter layout.

Why the puzzle number and date matter

Wordle numbers its daily puzzles sequentially, so #1326 identifies a single day’s answer. Searches for “Wordle #1326” or “Wordle answer February 4” therefore refer to the same word, and the answer will not change for that puzzle. If you are reading this later and the game shows a different number, you are looking at a different day’s puzzle; check the number on the game board before using these hints.
